The Orientation Program for the students of Fall 2019 & Spring 2020 semester of Eastern University was held on 8 February 2020 at the permanent campus, Savar, Dhaka.
Renowned Educationist & Writer Professor Dr Muhammed Zafar Iqbalgraced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Professor Dr Shahid Akhtar Hossain, Vice-Chancellor of EU chaired the program. Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad, Professor Emeritus of EU delivered the welcome speech. The chairman of the board of trustees of Eastern University Sk. Sayedur Rahman was the guest of Honor.
In his speech, the chief guest Prof. Dr Zafar Iqbal mentioned about the merits and demerits of artificial intelligence which is already introduced in the first world countries where manpower is replacing by the machine. So, he advised students to use the brain properly for winning the race.
