- Snaking a kitchen sink drain. I’m using the trusty Ridgid K50 to clear the blockage in this kitchen sink drain pipe. The customer has put too much food down the disposal and not enough water #plumbing #plumber #diy
That’ll be $375 lol
Uh yeah close to it actually. What do you think it should cost?
You pay for the skill and years of training that it takes to be able to knock out a job this quick. Not the time it takes him to do the job.
If you want someone that charges per hour go pick someone up that’s in front of Home Depot…
@@i.bleed.green.2081 hey little girl…. Why do you have an attitude on the internet? Lol 😂 what the??? Anyways bro I said that because I’m a plumber and that’s what we charge just to use the machine.
Go……. Have….. a…… snickers……. You’re not yourself…… when you’re hungry.
@@MrPerrisin91 you got thin skin like that and I’m the girl? Sheeeeeeesh 🤣🤣
“That’s what we charge to use the machine” yeah clearly a plumber. We call all our tools machines 🤣🙃
@@i.bleed.green.2081 that’s we charge to use the “tub machine, 100 machine, the spartan, snake, poop clearer” bro what? Your argument is the verbiage I used? Lmao idiot
@@MrPerrisin91😂 Freakin Hilarious
Someone wants to charge me 2000 to do that hahaha 😂
You could have a whole new kitchen sink plus countertops for that price.😂
Is that a 3/8 cable? Or 1/2? That is huge for a kitchen sink… and no bends on it I know that’s tough to get around some corners!
1/4 cable for kitchen sinks and if that can’t pop it go with the mini jetter. 💪
Do you know what to use for like a drain in my basement floor ? In do I need a jet shooter ?
@@priinceanthonykoldd7071 is there a cover on the drain? You might want to start with a shop vac if not and see if the trap is just full of stuff. Don’t forget to put some water back down if you do.
I prefer 1/4” cables on pretty much everything.
@@i.bleed.green.2081 no so the lil thin aluminum part that look like the cover in the drain ! I believe it’s stuck in the drain but my dad told me I’m not sure yest
@@priinceanthonykoldd7071 can you get a magnet and try to fish it out? Or maybe a vacuum like I said before.
@@priinceanthonykoldd7071mini jetter and jet shooter are the same thing?
That’s a chainknocker. Wht brand is that. Ridgid?
Yeah looks like it. $200 head from Ridgid
That studor vent tho..
Haha yeah a little low but still within code my state
It'll work
In my state it needs to be above the flood rim (the sink overflow level).
@@i.bleed.green.2081 that's universal plumbing code for all states for in case the sink backs up and ruins the auto vent, however most homeowners don't want drywall to be ripped out just to put a cheater vent higher. Also if it's an island sink it's impossible to have a cheater vent higher than the base of the sink
@@SamThePlumber yeah I come across these all the time in the “wild” that are like this..
Also “universal plumbing code” or UPC doesn’t imply it’s the same everywhere. It’s called that in all states but not all states have the same code.
The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. (Psalms 145:17-20)
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17:30)
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5)
Turn to Jesus people he died for your sins. Repent of what the New testament describes as sin. Believe the gospel get baptized and obey the teachings of Jesus. The gospel and the teachings of Jesus are documented in Matthew Mark Luke and John. Jesus is the only way to be saved God bless you all. If you have faith in Jesus through your faith you will live life with him as your example.;
Ok I've turned to Jesus yayyy!!!! I'm now praying that the sink will be unclogged by the next time I need to use it. Ive heard he never leaves prayers unanswered so I'm excited to see him do his magic!!!! Will report back later on how that goes.
I'm back. Nothing happened. Wtf Jesus.
Wow good job. Thanks for showing me that 1/2 inch cable can be used in kitchen sink!
The problem is, your air vent is WAY TOO LOW, needs to be above the sink line
When aliens abduct me in the middle of the night 👽
Ive heard that cpvc is very brittle and shouldn't be used for water lines is that true?
Cpvc is no longer used except for repairs on existing cpvc. It degrades over time and becomes extremely brittle and prone to breaking.
What code is that?
Texas still uses it
@@zachcoleman6285 No one plumbs houses with Cpvc anymore. You're thinking of PVC drain pipe.
@@SamThePlumber
No not single family dwellings
But it's still used for multi-family new construction. It's cheaper than any other material.
@@SamThePlumbercpvc is still used to this day here in Kentucky , what codes in which state are you referring to?
I like to unthread the stupor vent if possible. Run water once I pop a hole in the clog. You can't do that most the time anyway. Good stuff
I'd rather rod a back up sewer than a grease filled kitchen sink can't never get that smell off my machine but it has unstopped KFC grease trap you talk about 🤮id rather smell 💩
Haha 😂
Oh god, as a kid I had to bail out grease traps at a local restaurant. I can't believe I put up with that. It was awful. Most people have no idea.
Which drain snake are you using
I use the same blue gloves. Like the head with chains.
What is that thing you put on the pipe to unblock the pipi
I wish I can fix mine as easy as how you did
In spate ai piesa de curatire dece nu o folosesti?
Maybe replace the admittance valve too for optimal flow.
Dry rod
Freakin Sweet!!!
👍🏻👏💯🔥🙂
Pvc getts very brittle I would never use it inside a house. Abs, cast iron or dwv.
For DWV? Or do you mean cpvc for supply lines?
The entire state of GA uses PVC sch 40 on drainage .. it’s fine
@@theplumberlorian Im still not sure what he was talking about. If he wants no hub or abs, that's on him. But PVC hasn't done me wrong. Do y'all use PVC of any type for pressurized water? I still run copper if I can with pex as the next option. But all of my dwv that I run now is pvc.
Okay, why did you use a descaler for a blockage? I mean, it worked, but that head is for cleanup, not blockage.
I feel like this enters 'anythings a hammer' territory.
That’s what I was wondering I’m not sure either
