I love the looks of the vehicle and how quiet it is. It is full of technological and safety features. I am afraid the power train might not be reliable because it is turbo charged, supercharged, and electric motors. That is too much complexity into the engine.
I look at it this way. Electric part of the drive train (given that I charge the car nightly) takes care of the city driving, sparing ICE/transmission from the least pleasant parts - the city. ICE is used in it's optimal mode on longer trips with fewer stops, steady-ish speeds. Should survive even longer as part of the PHEV system that way vs being the sole engine in the car. Not sure about the electric part, but it's simpler than ICE? So no need to worry about it that much? These Volvos have been on the market for a good amount of years now, so Volvo should've figured out most of the quirks by now, in theory. At least that's what I tell myself, because I'm waiting for one to be delivered, haha :D@@ubiased23
I look at it this way. The electric motor saves ICE/transmission from the city driving and ICE can work in optimal environment - on the highway. Maybe this can actually prolong the life of the parts compared to using ICE in all conditions. I don't know about the electric motor itself, but they are considered more reliable, being an advantage of electric cars, right?@@ubiased23

Not supercharged anymore.
@@pavlo2692 got you, but you still have the turbo and electric motors into the engine. Not sure how reliable it will be.

But the price is high
For what you’re getting, not really. Not compared to the Germans or even American cars with the same specs.
Electric cars are saving life
