This macrame wall hanger uses our 9mm braided cotton cords in “Chestnut” and “Bay Leaf” and is perfect for holding keys, sunglasses or even postcards or photos on display! Such a fun way to decorate a space 💫💛 Written instructions down below! 🤩
•You will need 6 cords of your first color choice and 4 cords of your second color choice, each 124” long.
•With colors 2x2, add each cord to your dowel about two finger lengths apart using a Larks Head Knot.
•Begin by creating 5 rows of alternating Square Knots. Each knot is spaced a few finger lengths apart.
•Now we will taper the Square Knots in a diagonal direction for 3 more rows.
•To finish, trim your ends to your perfect length. The cord will be stiff at first, but it will straighten once it hangs for about 24 hours.
