As usual, the background lore in Seed/Destiny is better than the actual story. This Gundam Universe has a plethora of very cool ideas. It's just that the execution has some serious issues.

@@Joshua_N-A Zaku III has nothing to do with Zaku II. It's a much later model that at designed to look like a Zaku. The real continuation of the Zaku line was the Annaheim built Hyzack, Marosai, Doga, Zulu models. GuAIZ R is pretty much second line unit. Ginn HM2 had its performance pushed to limits. Both served the purpose the keep the old models relevant until the ZAKU/GOUF replaced them. On the other hand, Geera Zulu/Doga were up to date generic mass-produced MS, made fo Zeon remnants, because AE is post-ZZ Annaheim is shady as fuck.
Seeing all of these Ginn variations, especially the Zakus of the CE makes me wonder if any PMC organizations got their hands on them and made some great customs, like what happened with some Civilian Astrays.
It's the TRUE Zaku of Cosmic Era. The ZAKU and GOUF in Destiny were due to it was aired in 2004, Gundam's 25th anniversary. Wish it was aired in 2005 instead, I'd like to see the later GINNs in their glory.
the GINN T.A.R. who can only became fully invisible by not moving is almost similar to how the Gundams and Celestial Being's ships from Gundam 00 work with their Optical Camouflage system.
Ginn Ocher was interesting. Ginn Femws was just adorable. Ginn Wasp ruined that adorable visage. The fact it has a Phonon made me smile in a touch of Zock.
Maybe make a list of ZAFT's dedicated machines next? The thing I found interesting about ZAFT's machines is that most of them are absurdly good on their roles but they can actually still serve outside its dedicated position when needed.
Excellent as usual! I’d love to see a video on Mobile Tank types of mobile suits from the Universal Century. The Guntank line has lots of development and I’ve got a soft spot for the Hildolfr and Xamel. Would love to see something on those!
Too bad ZAFT didn't utilize the GuAIZ R more. Destiny happened to be aired on Gundam's 25th anniversary so ZAKU Warrior and GOUF Ignited were kind of celebration milestone. Had it was aired in 2005-2006, we'd be seeing more HM GINN and GuAIZ action.
Love the GINN! My favorite would be the High Maneuver, it just looks so good! I wonder if they'll make this from the upcoming MG GINN. Unlikely tho, but fingers crossed!

GINN Wasp....aka Cosmic Era's Zaku II Marine Type....all the way down to the 4 tube missle launcher gun. Which in Universal Century, Zaku Marine Type paved the way for the Acguy and Z'Gok as the Zaku II Marine Type was merely a prototype for future Zeon aquatic mobile suits.
I remember when Gundam Seed for no reason got some UC Hardgraph like still showing tanks, helicopters, ships and other things like that only for it to never go anywhere.
Back when Seed had integrity with it's designs. I liked it more when they had their own versions of Zaku's and Gelgoogs. Meanwhile Destiny just takes 0079 designs with zero effort.

I like the Ginn WASP it is essentially the Cosmic Era equivalent to the Zaku Mariner that we see in ZZ Gundam, the Ginn WASP also seems to have a similar torpedo launcher weapon that the Zaku mariner is equipped with. I would love it if Bandai gave us kits of the Ginn WASP and Ginn Ocher and possibly the Dinn in the future.
The GINN HM should've been in the place of Zaku Warrior, as a stopgap until more than half of ZAFT regulars receive the GuAIZ R. But then again, Destiny was aired when Gundam celebrates its 25th anniversay hence the ZAKU Warrior and GOUF Ignited.

I know people have issues with gundam seed and oh believe me I know but if there's one thing that's constant about both the 1st season and destiny is the really cool mobile suit designs. From all of seemingly perfect op Gundam prototypes i am most Amazed on Grunt suits,sure OP Gundam can kill multiple of grunts but they are the back Bone of any military power
I wonder if the recon type Ginn is also outfitted with some kind of stealth material to minimize radar detection, evidently since that squadron of nuclear equipped windams on their way to attack the PLANTs didn't detect that Ginn hiding behind an asteroid, which gave ZAFT the advance warning needed to intercept that attack force
As long as the recon GINN doesnt use active sensors and manage its heat from the machinery well, things hiding behind solid chunk of rock are usually very difficult to detect since radar, optic etc cant see through that.
Regardless of how promising ZAFT's Millennium Series Main Forces use units such as the Trooper Series of ZAKUs and DOMs, ZAKU Phantom, GOUF Ignited and their Wizard Packs; And their existing CGUE and GuAIZ/R units- only the GINN LRR and High Maneuver Type IIs are my preferred choice when it comes to GINNs... Then of course the Second/S and First/A Stage Gundam Units
Slight error, but wasn't the beam rifle on the GINN HM2 powered by a battery magazine that's on the rifle itself?(like the e-pacs usually seen in use by the Gundam Mk-II and later UC mobile suits, even the Jesta). Even the ZAKU Warrior's/Phantom's beam rifle worked the same way, with there being spare batteries stored on the shields. AFAIK, this was how they went about extending the operational time of older mobile suits, while keeping them competitive with more modern units(aka modernization) Also, IIRC, the beam carbine used by the Dagger L(and some leftover 105 Daggers at Heaven's Base) also used external batteries in an effort to extend the mobile suit's operational time, whilst allowing it to use beam weapons. The only reason the Windam could use a direct powered beam rifle was due to it having an upgraded battery from the outset.

Unicorn MS are more than likely going to be added in the future, since they're UC MS. As for Seed & IBO MS, i wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you as GBO2, so far, has been limiting itself to UC MS.
For SEED's Katanas I imagine its down to the image of them being very sharp swords just scaled up. Couldn't think of any tech off the top my head though I suppose there may be something. As for the likes of Exia's GN Swords you need to remember that their blades have been coated with GN Particles to enhance their cutting and piercing capabilities.
Ginn HM has a similar thrusters like GN Drive on its back. Perhaps I could custom it to make it more inspiring. Sadly HGCE Ginn is not in production anytime soon.
Can you also do a video on blue cosmos from gundam seed and sead destiny? I always found them and rau to be the best gundam villains in recent history from the franchise since the zeon and titans as well as char and the zabi family.
"Guaiz is better than Ginn HMT" I call bs on this, seeing how powerful light pulse system's used on METEOR. Also, It may not have powerful generator as HMT 2, but it's light pulse systems might use fuel more efficiently per engine output than normal engine. I believe Zaft never produce it in such a high number due to fear that light pulse system would fall into EA hand which's happened eventually.

Because Seed was a retelling of 0079 with a more modernized storyline, while Destiny was a retelling of Zeta.

The close-combat beam rifle does seem like a scaled-up weapon the Imperial Guard would use.

AFAIK, this was how they went about extending the operational time of older mobile suits, while keeping them competitive with more modern units(aka modernization)
Also, IIRC, the beam carbine used by the Dagger L(and some leftover 105 Daggers at Heaven's Base) also used external batteries in an effort to extend the mobile suit's operational time, whilst allowing it to use beam weapons. The only reason the Windam could use a direct powered beam rifle was due to it having an upgraded battery from the outset.

Unicorn MS are more than likely going to be added in the future, since they're UC MS. As for Seed & IBO MS, i wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you as GBO2, so far, has been limiting itself to UC MS.

Anyone know how like physical blades can cut metal so easily in seed and 00? (Astray’s katanas and gn sword 1)
For SEED's Katanas I imagine its down to the image of them being very sharp swords just scaled up. Couldn't think of any tech off the top my head though I suppose there may be something. As for the likes of Exia's GN Swords you need to remember that their blades have been coated with GN Particles to enhance their cutting and piercing capabilities.

Ginn HM has a similar thrusters like GN Drive on its back. Perhaps I could custom it to make it more inspiring. Sadly HGCE Ginn is not in production anytime soon.

"Guaiz is better than Ginn HMT" I call bs on this, seeing how powerful light pulse system's used on METEOR. Also, It may not have powerful generator as HMT 2, but it's light pulse systems might use fuel more efficiently per engine output than normal engine. I believe Zaft never produce it in such a high number due to fear that light pulse system would fall into EA hand which's happened eventually.
