K329 gives up some of that toughness for edge stability but it seems like a good balance. Fantastic grip retention btw, something Joe noted and many overlook. I bet you were on the edge of your seat watching! Joe is going to be testing something I sent him so I’m going to know that feeling pretty soon! Cheers! 👍🤘🤘
For a blade that long I think it did really well. I think that woodchipper steel was a good choice. And I really love the fawn foot handle shape, just like an axe! Really awesome design on this one! Very Marlboro! ✌🏼

I really like this knife bro. Got a couple of them myself you could say. It's my favorite all around Bowie! It performed pretty damn good in your hands. The whole knife, from the tip to heel is excellent! It's one of the very few knives around that's become a classic from the moment it was made! And the icing on the cake, YOU liking the knife! A lot of knifes which are brittle and break early are holding the edge much longer than softer, flexible knifes. Could be some kind of standardized rope and hard nail cutting (batoning). If it is still sharp after e.g. 5 nail cuts and 20 rope cuts then we can judge edge sharpening frequency. So we could see if the balance between edge retention and hard use bend testing is given.
Well gotta say except for work tuff being hard to get and expensive, they seem to be extremely tough. So i guess if you can afford it (and have money when they drop) its a extremely tough option. Ive read really good things about the K329 steel. Myself personally im not a fan of this actual design. I like the case raider better. It just looks too wide for my taste. Still amazing durability. 👏 Joe you are the man !
I expected the tip to break, its designed as a fighting/ survival knife with a super sharp point. This knife took a good beating and still did fairly well. I would buy one.

It did great. That is one for the good list when it comes to fullers. I wonder how many knife makers run it though engineering software or similar calculation to check of they are putting a weakness into the spine vs enhancing the strength:weight with their fuller geometry. This is the first one Joe x tested off the top of my head to appear to be done right.
