I'm glad churches post sermons on youtube helps me as a Christian hear many good preachers of the word, and now I see its more than prayer its about everything I do.
I do go through the motions and I am guilty . nothing fake about me ! Confused and not acting like a Christian that is me and God knows . I am a sinner and I own it I have used his name in vain many times in vain when in anger . And more so today since I got on face book. and Dr Uth I hope there is hope for me somewhere in this world. And I won't give up. I need Jesus every day and I do feel unworthy a lot of times because of my evil ways. I do know his love and I do feel him on my worse days. you have prayed for me before and I will never forget that moment. I do feel like you helped me a lot just praying with me here in wmla. And that was 15 years ago but I know in my heart that God is with me . even now! You have always been my best teacher as learning of the bible and I miss you so much. I know I need prayer and guidance. more than you know. Just please continue praying for me and lead me where ever I need to be. lost and confused.. So all
Lord, help me to hear you saying, "I am your hope" over all the other voices. Lord, your word says, you are the hope for hopeless so I'm running to you with both hands stretched out and grabbing on to you. Fill me up with hope and give me a tangible reminder today that hope is an unbreakable spiritual lifeline (Hebrews 6:19-20). God, you know those things in my heart that I barely dare to hope for, today I give them to you, I trust them to you, and ask that you because I know that you can do more than I could ever guess, imagine or request in wildest dreams (Eph 3:20). God, you are my hope and I trust you. Amen.

Thank you for this! I only saw the video of the band playing the "wrong worship" songs and what they sang stuck in my ear for days. So finally, I thought, God might want to tell me somethign with that and watched the sermon. And it has been an answer to some behaviour and thinking of mine in the last weeks! So great!

Come on people. God is not God's name. Taking God's name in vain doesn't mean the use of his name. Although it is sacred and should be used in reverence. God in this case is saying don't TAKE my name in vain. Don't say yes I belong to Jehovah God and Jesus Christ and then do nothing about it. So many preaches...nearly all...teach the wrong meaning to this.
