Discontinued in 2023 the CZ 75B Omega is a unique model by CZ that redesigns the trigger mechanism to be more simple and robust. It is still DA/SA design but the internal parts are simpler to disassemble and reassemble for maintenance. The pistol comes pre-installed with a de-cocker but you can switch it out for a manual safety.
I just recently came across a used P-01 Omega and I snatched it up. Did not hesitate. Sweet ass trigger
Like your review and your excitement. Because of your thoughts im Going to turn my 75b omega into my next race gun. Crazy like you say, after 1000 rounds or a bit more the SA trigger is right at 2.6 pounds the DA is shit but it's going to get better. Without sending it off the CGW ultra lite kit got the DA down to 5.7 pounds. From what you have said and feeling the difference just from the spring kit it's going to CGW. Thank you

Great overview, I really enjoy your content. I love my SP01. It was my second all metal frame pistol and nestled nicely in my "duty" collection. Great pistols, for sure. I'm on the hunt for the CZ 97 (.45 ACP) for a good price. I have found a few online, it's not hard, but man are they pricey!
The only 97b I could find was from the cz custom shop and it was $1800
I have been watching your videos and you got me excited with this particular gun, even though it doesn’t have a rail.
It looks like the reset is shorter compared to the other CZ 75 from your other videos. Is my observation accurate?
It definitely has more take up but I wouldn't say the release is shorter than the Shadow models I have bc those are competition models but a step below that. Better than the regular non competition 75 series (75b, 75c, SP01)

G10 grips I got off Amazon
@@erik22lax Looks good. Found some similar but od green/black. Hopefully I’ll have the Omega by the end of the month. Already gave the P-09 and love it.
