    Left a bad situation made the decision on the spot grabbed a couple pants in 10 degree weather, left my valuables behind and headed south… I found a place in 2 days near Tampa and I am thankful to God for the easy transition. From fearing for my life to paradise. When you live with a drinker that starts making jokes about killing people time to leave. I’ve been thinking about Florida for more than a minute but was too comfortable to leave.

    Moved from south MS to Columbus OH about 13 years ago cause I was tired of the heat and humidity and wanted seasons and snow and cold...As I've gotten older, I have come to realize I wanted out of MS because of how I grew up much more than it was the weather. My wife is from FL, so we go to the Tampa area periodically to visit the in-laws and I CRAVE that warmth this time of year! Winters are harder and harder every year hahahah

      Columbus OH is turning into a war zone every day you hear about shootings and death, and for this reason, I am considering moving to Florida.

    Besides all the nice weather it’s the political land scape that makes florida so nice. We the freedom state

      I live adjacent to the People’s Republic of Seattle, and I can tell you that the freedom is definitely palatable in Florida. Especially when I was there for extended visits during the Covid years.

    Its gets boring after 2 years because its small and you get tired of it. I moved to Ft Lauderdale and its always something different with good public transportation and different nationalities from all over.

      100% agree about the public transportation and strongly disagree about things to do.

    Moved here from Atlanta during the height of the pandemic summer of 2020 because my industry recovered faster down here. The beautiful weather, beaches, and women don't hurt at all! Yes, it's becoming more expensive just like any other city experiencing growth. It's not Miami but has it's own flavor and things to do 7 days a week. I love Tampa Bay!!!
    Cons: Highway infrastructure needs to improve
    Potential for hurricane every year

    Juan, which cities have concrete or clay rooftop homes so far I haven't seen any home in your videos that has this feature. I am considering moving to Florida in the future from Mid West.

    • @trulivingtampa
      @trulivingtampa  Год назад

      Great question. Concrete roofs aren’t limited to cites. There are neighborhoods that do require it due to aesthetics. A lot of mid-level and custom builders use concrete roofs. I hope that helps
