There's too much going on. She's a suicide survivor, she's trying to reconnect with her daughter, she's being stalked by Marcus, her husband just died, someone is living in her walls and fucking with her, it just feels like too many different elements at once. Plus, why was the daughter making weird cryptic comments? And why would she have traces of that art or whatever the wall guy did smeared all over her hand?
I suspected that the mom had split personality, and that she was the violent person. I thought that Marcus knew and was twisted and playing along as well, and that her daughter was being influenced by their behaviours.
I hate emotionally driven movies like these. Movies that focus more on teenagers trying to fit in, broken relationships, parents trying to get close to their kids, people having lust, just emotional drivel for the sake of emotional drivel with no real story or plot to the movie itself...... They never seem to know what genre they want to be either. They focus so much on the bs that they forget to actually have a story, even forgeting to give it a conclusion at the end and what we're left with is question marks. These are the types of movies where we can tell the writers were on some sort of deadline to make something, not that it was a passion project or art that they wanted to share with the world, just give it vague cliches and a lot of pointless interactions.
Completely disagree with your generalization on "movies with emotionally driven (plots)", there are many GOOD movies that have elements of seriousness. It's okay if you have an immature taste and only watch slashers where the plot of is completely cut and dry and it just shows you everything so there isn't really a twist, like Chucky, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, you prolly think Rob Zombie movies are thrilling and deep, that's fine. But writing a long paragraph acting like most psychological thrillers and any plot with emotion focused on family or relationships is like THIS crappy movie? lol shows how many movies you've actually seen. TLDR? @@citrusbutter7718 What a really long paragraph to say you have bad taste and can't tell a good movie from a bad one, THIS IS a bad one! But you seem to think if it has plot at all, it's shitty and tropey As if slasher shock horror isn't shitty and tropey! LOL
I just watched a movie called within (spoiler alert) about a guy who was living in the walls that they also tried to make seem like the new family that moved in were being haunted by a ghost and he attacked the daughters boyfriend earlier and then tried to kill the family but it seemed like the daughter killed him but it showed the boyfriend instead because the wall creeper got away so they literally had the exact same ending and plot 🤦🏼♀️ (excluding all the random unnecessary crap they piled on top of the dumpster fire in this version) they were both terrible movies but I’m glad this wasn’t the one I actually watched because all the flashbacks and pointless side story rubbish would have driven me absolutely mental… someone needs to put an end to these shite movies about wall creeps since they’re all the bloody same 😒
..... That movie was a pointless confusing mess, and what supernatural? We don't even know the identity of whoever was living in her walls. Was he living or dead because towards the end they implied he's just a weirdo stalking them in their walls.
@@karnold8172You saw someone expressing happiness at a simple pleasure that wasn’t hurting you or anyone else and you felt the need to be rude. THAT’S what’s embarrassing. YOU should feel ashamed. Not them

I agree 💯 way to much, so confusing 😂
There is a movie like that, about a man who has a daughter and the mother has died, I forget what it is called!@@getfitstayfit758

I am made of questions right now.
Cat 🐱 😅 ! Why are there so many cats 🐱 in scary movies
Why was this movie made?? So many questions yet zero answers. Bet this movie was rated 0/0
Cool movie! Seems to actually be supernatural after all….

Gotta enjoy the simple things
So, your "comment" is.... you are the first to make no comment on a recap that you haven't watched yet?
How embarrassing for you!
