first 37 minutes of this talk indicates that wisdom and knowlege is on it's peak even 30 years back.......he is not a scholar, he is an institute. inspite some religious issues, hats off to him.

Respected Ghamidi Sahib is good understander of Qur'an but despite of this Allama Parwez Sahib has done a great research on Qur'an also & great understander of Qur'an & His services for Islam is undeniable.

I think all religions have 2 issues: moral values and non moral worldly issues and laws. For example these are moral issues:Do not kill; Do not steal; Do not lie; Honor your father and mother; Love your family and your neighbors, etc. These are the core values of all religions and nobody has any problem with it. However when religion speaks about 23:51 Suleman or Hazrat Dawood etc or punishments for stealing or rapes, etc, we have use lots of common sense and our advanced scientific and logical knowledge. This is the difference I think between Prof. Pervez and Ghamidi sb. Prof Pervez sb was a very sincere honest person who cared intensely about the Muslim ummah.
Ghamidi Sahib is a great scholar in his own right, but his work is transitional . Pervez is about 100 years ahead of everyone else. Time and time again Ghamidi sahib has emphasized that his approach to Islam is that of a student. He has been attacked for rejecting hadiths based on academic and historical principles that have been established in the study of theology or religion. Parvez sahib too has taken a similar approach towards the Quran , but he has tried to interpret the Quran as a universal message for all times to come. There are mistakes in Parvez sahib's work bases on his influences, because he was trying to equate the Quran against powerful ideologies like Communism, Socialism , Totalitarianism and Capitalism. Parvez sahib said that if we just treat Islam as a religion than we have no chance against the power of manmade ideologies. Islam is a deen or a collective system where Allah is the supreme sovereign and there no difference between the ruler and the ruled - this is a much more powerful concept than any other put out by Madoodi , Islahi , Frahi , Israr or even Ghamidi sahib. These days Ghamidi sahib is travelling around the world listening and doing Q&A for petty issues of muslims - is beard allowed , should we keep pants above ankles etc , etc. Parvez sahib already knew that Muslims will remain stuck in these trivial matters and never assemble together to make an egalitarian society or a system which can be an alternate to powerful forces of Capitalism and rule of the powerful elites in the world. Sovereignty belongs to Allah alone - if muslims stay stuck in literalism and do not embrace rationalism then they will remain useless in Allah's plan for mankind.
FreudSG, you are right, Pervez has done a lot for Quran and he also said that these types of questions will arise, So follow only Quran, but some of his work remains in Questions because, that's why he wrote " ye hurfe akhir nahi hai" in the end of his all writings/books. Ghamidi is presenting Pervez as jahil/illeterate here, and all he is saying is the same as pervez said , but in other way

@@rationalbeing17 I did look up both individuals Ghamidi and Parvez and if you read carefully I wrote that both have admitted mistakes in their work, naturally because of the influence of the period they lived their lives in. Allah's message in the Quran is eternal. Individuals have attempted to understand that message through literalism or dynamicism .... depending on the challenge that is being faced by humanity and muslims at the time. If you say that has not been the case with Quran's interpretation and it has been fixed through out history and will remain so.. then you are fooling yourself and the upcoming generations of muslims and humans who hope to study this book and find relevance. I am very fond of Janab Ghamdi Sahab. Indeed he has great knowledge and he is the best contemporary Muslim scholar. However, I did not like some of the terms and words he used for Janab Pervez Sahab. I place Ghamdi Sahab in a much higher place and don't expect him to say against any other scholar or to question someone's intention. Janab Pervez Sahab also spent his whole life teaching the Quran. Anyone can disagree with others but we must not undermine others' work. Anyone can mistake but we must not question anyone's intention. Ghamdi sahab nay yeh Ziyadtee ker dee, inko shaistagee aur adab say kaam laina chahiyai tha. May Allah SWT bless all who spent time guiding people and reminding the umma to study the Quran.
Important !!! In fact, it is known that the name of a prince of Midian in the days of king Solomon himself was Hud-hud; and according to Arab traditions the name of the Queen’s brother or father was also Hud-hud. (See Ard al-Qur’an by Saiyyad Sulaiman Nadvi, Dar al-Musannifin, Azamgarh).
More than thirty years later, after undergoing personal tragedies, despite all his differences, deep down, Ghamidi saheb knows that Parvez saheb had made some really valid points.

But sir, the matter of discussion is not those "some" points at all, coz some valid points can be delivered by anyone even not being some scholar. The principles on which you build your estate are the judges and their judgment can strengthen your base as well as just cut your roots. Listening closely can easily enlighten that if someone has to understand and explain a 'kalam', he has to go through and follow the linguistic principles and not seldom dictionaries otherwise he will face calamity and the "gap" between him and the truth with increase consequently, this is what happened to GAP sahib.

The Qur’an speaks in the form of metaphors which will remain intact till Qiyamah. Islam, like Judaism and Christianity before it is a movement for reformation amongst humanity as a whole. Muhammad (PBUH), like all the añbiya before him was a reformer at social and politcal levels.
Apart from ‘bird’ and other things, tair also means ‘omen’ as in 7:131, 27:47, 36:19, and ‘action’ or ‘good or evil fate’ - ‘the register of deeds’ - as in 17:13. It also means ‘destiny’ of ‘fortune’ As Apostle to the Jews at a time when their state was most deplorable (see verse 112 of this Surah), Jesus instilled new life into them, and raised them up from the mire.

JazakAllah. Gamid Sb took 44 minutes to explain shorba and the fire in the chest and television. He could have devoted these to give more examples of Gulam Ahmed Parvez's flawed understanding of Arabic. Well he did this thirty years ago. What about his explanation of Surah Al Isra?
کوئی ھے جو اس کا جواب دے؟ غامدی صاحب اس لیکچر میں ایک جگہ فرماتے ہیں صحرائی باشندوں کیلیے عربی کا معروف لفظ ہے اعراب۔ جن کا لفظ ان معنوں میں قرآن میں استعمال ہوا ہی نہیں۔ اس لفظ جن کیلیے غیر تہذیب یافتہ لوگوں یا صحرائی باشندوں کیلیے اس لفظ کے استعمال سے نہ عرب واقف تھے نہ عربی زبان۔ غامدی کا یہ دعویٰ درست نہیں ہے۔ یہاں عربی ادب سے شواہد پیش ہیں۔ و من امثال العرب ‛اجن اللہ جبالہ‛ ای الجبال التی یسکنہا ای اکثراللہ فیہا الجن اوحشہا (شرح امثال میدانی) نابغہ ذبیانی جاہلی عرب کا ایک شاعر ہے کہتا ہے سہکین من صداء الحدید کانہم تحت السنور جنتہ البقار (یعنی ان کے بدن میں بدبو ہو گئی لوہے کے رنگ سے گویا کہ وہ ۔ زرہ کے نیچے بقار کے جن ہیں۔ زمانہ جاہلیت کا ایک اور شاعر زہیر ابن سلمی کہتا ہے اذا فزعوا طارواالی مستغیثہم طوال الرماح لاضعاف ولا عزل (یعنی جب وہ لوگ جوش میں آتے ہیں تو دوڑ کر جاتے ہیں۔ اپنی پناہ مانگنے والے کے پاس لمبے نیزے لے کر۔ نہ وہ کمزور ہیں اور نہ بے ہتھیار) بخیل علیہا جنتہ عبقریہ جدیرو ز یوما ان ینالوا فیستعلوا (گھوڑوں پر کہ ان گھوڑوں پر جن عبقری ہے۔ لایق ہیں لڑائی کے دن کہ اپنا مقصد پائیں اور غالب ہوں) جن اذا فزعوا انس اذا امنوا ممردون بھالیل اذا جھدوا (جن ہیں جب کہ جوش میں آتے ہیں اور انس ہیں جب کہ امن میں ہوتے ہیں۔ دراز قد ہیں خندہ رو ہیں جب کہ وہ کوشش کرتے ہیں) جس زمانے میں غامدی صاحب نے یہ لیکچر دیا تھا تب انہیں زیادہ لوگ نہیں جانتے تھے۔ لہذا تب ان کا یہ کہنا کہ ادب کا ایک خاص اسلوب ہی ان کے ہاں بار پا سکتا ہے ایک طرح کی شاعرانہ تعلی کے سوا کچھ نہیں۔ غامدی صاحب اپنا تعلق زبردستی خواہ امین احسن سے ملائیں یا فراہی سے ان کی پہچان پرویز صاحب ہیں۔ اس لیے کہ آج ان کے نوے فی صد نتائج فکر وہی ہیں جو پرویز صاحب کے تھے۔

قرآن کوپڑھنے سے پتہ چلتا ہے کہ نوحؑ، ابراہیمؑ، اسماعیلؑ، اسحاقؑ، یعقوبؑ، یوسفؑ اور اُن کے بھائی سب مکہ (یعنی اُمُّ القرٰی) کے رہنے والے تھے جب ابراہیمؑ اور اسماعیلؑ نے یہ دُعا کی کہ اِن (لوگوں) میں انہی میں سے ایک رسول ( اللہ کا بھیجا ہوا) مبعوث (مقرّر) کردے جو تیری آیات کی تلاوت کرے اورکتاب (لکھے ہوئے) کا اور حکمت (دانائی ) کاعلم دے اور تزکیہ (جوازپیش) کرے ۔ اُسی (اللہ) نے اُمیّوں (ماں والوں / مکّہ والوں) میں اور تم میں اور مومنوں میں رسول مبعوث کیا اور اس سے پہلے وہ واضح گمراہی میں تھے ۔ ہمیں یہ بات واضح ہوئی کہ جب تک آیات کو یاد نہیں کریں گے اور آیات کو اپنی نفسیات کا حصّہ (یعنی عمل کرکے) نہیں بنائیں گے واضح گمراہی میں ہی رہیں گے ۔ اے ہمارے رب ہمارے اس امر کو آسان کر دے ۔ آمین

@jsaeedfirstname Munkareen hadith is not an insult its an honor. Any true Muslim would categorically reject divine law from a source other than Allah. It is kufr to do so. These miracles you speak of are entirely from a hadith based understanding of Islam. Parwez Ahmed was not perfect but his principle was about a rational understanding of the Quran

ابن كثیر نے بھی لکھا ہے کہ نمل ایک قبیلے کا نام تھا اور جس کو غامدی صاحب چیونٹی کہہ رہے ہیں نمل قبیلے کی عورت تھی ۔ احمد علی نے لکھا ہے کہ ہد ہد ایک ساوتھ یمنی قبیلے کا بھی نام تھا اور جس ہد ہد کا ذکر یہاں ہے ہو سکتا ہے وہ اسی قبیلے کا فرد تھا
غامدی صاحب کا یہ تنقیدی بیان غلام احمد پرویز کی وفات کے بعد کیوں ہوا؟ ان کی زندگی میں ایسا مفصل بیان ہونا چاہیے تھا تاکہ کوئی جواب الجواب کی صورت نکل سکتی اور علمی اور ادبی اور تاریخی حقائق سامنے آتے۔۔۔ غامدی صاحب کی تنقید سے میں مکمل متفق ہوں مگر یہ غلام احمد صاحب پرویز مرحوم سے علمی زیادتی ہوگی۔۔۔ گو غامدی صاحب نے ان کی زندگی میں بھی تنقید کی ہوگی مگر ایسی کاری ضرب علمی گرفت ان کی حیات میں ہونا کمال رکھتی اور اصل درجہ پاتی
Nobody is saying that Parvez saheb has claimed so. Obviously he must have tried his best but although as you said insani koshish ghalitiyon se paak nahi, therefore those errors are being informed.
I listened many audio video assets of allama pervez i found him near to wisdom and i can understand Quran as full of wisdom. But other ulemas including Ghamdi are not real close to Islam which is full of wisdom. On wisdom ghamdi saheb can not match allama pervez

I think all religions have 2 issues: moral values and non moral worldly
issues and laws. For example these are moral issues:Do not kill; Do not steal; Do not lie; Honor your father and mother; Love your family and your neighbors, etc. These are the core values of all religions and nobody has any problem with it. However when religion speaks about 23:51 Suleman or Hazrat Dawood etc or punishments for stealing or rapes, etc, we have use lots of common sense and our advanced scientific and logical knowledge. This is the difference I think between Prof. Pervez and Ghamidi sb. Prof Pervez sb was a very sincere honest person who cared intensely about the Muslim ummah.

Ghamidi Sahib is a great scholar in his own right, but his work is transitional . Pervez is about 100 years ahead of everyone else. Time and time again Ghamidi sahib has emphasized that his approach to Islam is that of a student. He has been attacked for rejecting hadiths based on academic and historical principles that have been established in the study of theology or religion. Parvez sahib too has taken a similar approach towards the Quran , but he has tried to interpret the Quran as a universal message for all times to come. There are mistakes in Parvez sahib's work bases on his influences, because he was trying to equate the Quran against powerful ideologies like Communism, Socialism , Totalitarianism and Capitalism. Parvez sahib said that if we just treat Islam as a religion than we have no chance against the power of manmade ideologies. Islam is a deen or a collective system where Allah is the supreme sovereign and there no difference between the ruler and the ruled - this is a much more powerful concept than any other put out by Madoodi , Islahi , Frahi , Israr or even Ghamidi sahib.
These days Ghamidi sahib is travelling around the world listening and doing Q&A for petty issues of muslims - is beard allowed , should we keep pants above ankles etc , etc.
Parvez sahib already knew that Muslims will remain stuck in these trivial matters and never assemble together to make an egalitarian society or a system which can be an alternate to powerful forces of Capitalism and rule of the powerful elites in the world. Sovereignty belongs to Allah alone - if muslims stay stuck in literalism and do not embrace rationalism then they will remain useless in Allah's plan for mankind.
FreudSG, you are right, Pervez has done a lot for Quran and he also said that these types of questions will arise, So follow only Quran, but some of his work remains in Questions because, that's why he wrote " ye hurfe akhir nahi hai" in the end of his all writings/books. Ghamidi is presenting Pervez as jahil/illeterate here, and all he is saying is the same as pervez said , but in other way

@@rationalbeing17 I did look up both individuals Ghamidi and Parvez and if you read carefully I wrote that both have admitted mistakes in their work, naturally because of the influence of the period they lived their lives in. Allah's message in the Quran is eternal. Individuals have attempted to understand that message through literalism or dynamicism .... depending on the challenge that is being faced by humanity and muslims at the time. If you say that has not been the case with Quran's interpretation and it has been fixed through out history and will remain so.. then you are fooling yourself and the upcoming generations of muslims and humans who hope to study this book and find relevance. I am very fond of Janab Ghamdi Sahab. Indeed he has great knowledge and he is the best contemporary Muslim scholar. However, I did not like some of the terms and words he used for Janab Pervez Sahab. I place Ghamdi Sahab in a much higher place and don't expect him to say against any other scholar or to question someone's intention. Janab Pervez Sahab also spent his whole life teaching the Quran. Anyone can disagree with others but we must not undermine others' work. Anyone can mistake but we must not question anyone's intention. Ghamdi sahab nay yeh Ziyadtee ker dee, inko shaistagee aur adab say kaam laina chahiyai tha. May Allah SWT bless all who spent time guiding people and reminding the umma to study the Quran.

More than thirty years later, after undergoing personal tragedies, despite all his differences, deep down, Ghamidi saheb knows that Parvez saheb had made some really valid points.

But sir, the matter of discussion is not those "some" points at all, coz some valid points can be delivered by anyone even not being some scholar. The principles on which you build your estate are the judges and their judgment can strengthen your base as well as just cut your roots. Listening closely can easily enlighten that if someone has to understand and explain a 'kalam', he has to go through and follow the linguistic principles and not seldom dictionaries otherwise he will face calamity and the "gap" between him and the truth with increase consequently, this is what happened to GAP sahib.

جس زمانے میں غامدی صاحب نے یہ لیکچر دیا تھا تب انہیں زیادہ لوگ نہیں جانتے تھے۔ لہذا تب ان کا یہ کہنا کہ ادب کا ایک خاص اسلوب ہی ان کے ہاں بار پا سکتا ہے ایک طرح کی شاعرانہ تعلی کے سوا کچھ نہیں۔ غامدی صاحب اپنا تعلق زبردستی خواہ امین احسن سے ملائیں یا فراہی سے ان کی پہچان پرویز صاحب ہیں۔ اس لیے کہ آج ان کے نوے فی صد نتائج فکر وہی ہیں جو پرویز صاحب کے تھے۔

یہی بات آپ اجکل کے ایک قران کے عالم محمد شیخ صاحب کے بارے بھی کر سکتے ھیں کہ انکے ھاں بھی جو بات شد و مد کے ساتھ کی جارھی ھے وہ عربی مبین کی ناواقفیت کی وجہ ہی سے ھے ۔ جسکا اعتراف خود شیخ صاحب اکثر کرتے رھتے ھیں کہ مجھے عربی کم ہی آتی ھے ۔ کیونکہ قران تو عربی زبان کے عبور سے ہی سمجھ آۓ گا ۔ نہ کہ منطق اور فلسفے سے ۔۔۔
قرآن کوپڑھنے سے پتہ چلتا ہے کہ نوحؑ، ابراہیمؑ، اسماعیلؑ، اسحاقؑ، یعقوبؑ، یوسفؑ اور اُن کے بھائی سب مکہ (یعنی اُمُّ القرٰی) کے رہنے والے تھے جب ابراہیمؑ اور اسماعیلؑ نے یہ دُعا کی کہ اِن (لوگوں) میں انہی میں سے ایک رسول ( اللہ کا بھیجا ہوا) مبعوث (مقرّر) کردے جو تیری آیات کی تلاوت کرے اورکتاب (لکھے ہوئے) کا اور حکمت (دانائی ) کاعلم دے اور تزکیہ (جوازپیش) کرے ۔ اُسی (اللہ) نے اُمیّوں (ماں والوں / مکّہ والوں) میں اور تم میں اور مومنوں میں رسول مبعوث کیا اور اس سے پہلے وہ واضح گمراہی میں تھے ۔
ہمیں یہ بات واضح ہوئی کہ جب تک آیات کو یاد نہیں کریں گے اور آیات کو اپنی نفسیات کا حصّہ (یعنی عمل کرکے) نہیں بنائیں گے واضح گمراہی میں ہی رہیں گے ۔
اے ہمارے رب ہمارے اس امر کو آسان کر دے ۔ آمین

His thoughts of school is against Ahadess, he dnt believe waqia e miraj, he dnt believe in miracles in Quran, he says prayer mean system he is clever followers of chukralawi, Mr Puri and sir Syed Ahmad khan. He wrote totally new Quran own dictionary to inspire. Quran says about prayer he says prayers mean eat sleep repeat 😂😂. He will be regretting to mileading the people in the day of judgement. Pervaiz is munkreen Hadiths
Islam does not allow miracles. Qur'an emphasizes on aql, not vice versa.
@jsaeedfirstname Munkareen hadith is not an insult its an honor. Any true Muslim would categorically reject divine law from a source other than Allah. It is kufr to do so. These miracles you speak of are entirely from a hadith based understanding of Islam. Parwez Ahmed was not perfect but his principle was about a rational understanding of the Quran

مفہوم القرآن جہاں سے غامدی صاحب حوالہ دے رہے ہیں۔ قرآن کا ترجمہ نہیں ہے۔ اس کے ٹاٸیٹل پر پرویز صاحب نے لکھا ہے کہ یہ آیات کا ترجمہ نہیں ہے بلکہ وہ مفہوم ہے جو میں نے سمجھا ہے۔ غامدی صاحب ترجمہ اور مفہوم میں جان بوجھ کر فرق نہیں کر رہے ہیں۔
ابن كثیر نے بھی لکھا ہے کہ نمل ایک قبیلے کا نام تھا اور جس کو غامدی صاحب چیونٹی کہہ رہے ہیں نمل قبیلے کی عورت تھی ۔ احمد علی نے لکھا ہے کہ ہد ہد ایک ساوتھ یمنی قبیلے کا بھی نام تھا اور جس ہد ہد کا ذکر یہاں ہے ہو سکتا ہے وہ اسی قبیلے کا فرد تھا

غامدی صاحب کا یہ تنقیدی بیان غلام احمد پرویز کی وفات کے بعد کیوں ہوا؟ ان کی زندگی میں ایسا مفصل بیان ہونا چاہیے تھا تاکہ کوئی جواب الجواب کی صورت نکل سکتی اور علمی اور ادبی اور تاریخی حقائق سامنے آتے۔۔۔ غامدی صاحب کی تنقید سے میں مکمل متفق ہوں مگر یہ غلام احمد صاحب پرویز مرحوم سے علمی زیادتی ہوگی۔۔۔ گو غامدی صاحب نے ان کی زندگی میں بھی تنقید کی ہوگی مگر ایسی کاری ضرب علمی گرفت ان کی حیات میں ہونا کمال رکھتی اور اصل درجہ پاتی
Parvez is good at many issues but ghamdi sab has right to criticize the faults i didn't read extensively about beliefs of parvez

Pervez never claimed that his interpretations of Quran was free of errors (غلطیوں سے پاک). He tried his best (انسانی کوشش تھی).
Nobody is saying that Parvez saheb has claimed so. Obviously he must have tried his best but although as you said insani koshish ghalitiyon se paak nahi, therefore those errors are being informed.

Ghamdi is the modern version of Mullaism. Allama Ghulam Ahmad Pervaiz was the student of great Allama Iqbal.

I listened many audio video assets of allama pervez i found him near to wisdom and i can understand Quran as full of wisdom. But other ulemas including Ghamdi are not real close to Islam which is full of wisdom. On wisdom ghamdi saheb can not match allama pervez

Ghamidi has done more, he has rejected the base of those arguments.
