never forget - the masses are asses. most are only here to follow instructions given by a charismatic idiot. weed them out and you get to the people who are here to learn. that's when viewers are more serious, albeit limited. to make videos sharing actual information - maybe the only worthwhile solution is a paid membership ie patreon. the way i see it, youtube is an advertisement front page, patreon/youtube membership or whatever is for anyone who really wants to get to the next step.
