  • In this tutorial we are making a relatively simple paracord lanyard. This one has many advantages- the main body is quick deployable, it can be made without any specialist tools and finally- you can do it directly out of a spool or hank. As such it is a very efficient lanyard to do. The basic concept was inspired by the work of David Hopper, but I modified the design quite a bit in order to simplify it.

I've watched this video, and can't help think that this knitting is very much like Lucet knitting without using a Lucet tool.
Well done, it is a great video.

Such a cool project ! I want to make this for sure , I really have trouble at the end where your tightening the knot , I get lost on how to find the right strand to pull tight 🤔 this is why I have been unsuccessful on the completing the end of a Monkeys fist 😫 .

Thanks so much for this video😊! Very easy to undetstand and follow.
Now I have a question for you. Can you recommend other projects like this- projects that don't require a jig or other large tools? This kind of project is great because you can take it with you anywhere.

It would be nice if you would pan out once in a while.. your camera is too close to the work… it’s kind of hard to decipher what exactly you’re doing

I thought it was easy and clear. I watched the video once, decided that I would use it and then watched the first couple of minutes to follow how it was done as I made my lanyard and then fast forwarded it to see how to finish it. I thought it was easy.
