I like how Ennard says it will only hurt for a moment. For some reason, it tries to ease your fear. Why does it care? Is it the souls of children trying to be kind? I don't know why but it feels oddly comforting that it cares about us.
Very late to the party but - Ennard is primarily in control by Circus baby, who contains the soul of Elizabeth, the brother of the main character. Even though Ennard is killing you, Elizabeth's soul still cares for her brother, and wants to try and ease his fear.

someone theorized that he died already and that michael afton you're playing as is a robot replica of the adult michael its also why if you finish the golden freddy mode(4stars)you will hear michael talking to(about)his father and at phrase "im going to come and find you" his voice changes like a robot or like a slow talking with mettalic voice thats why he survived at scooper bc hes a robot unlike the other victims they died and have a black oil subtance coming out of the eyes of other victims because ennard is at leaking oil and we see from the cut seen that day after day he turns(worsend) to purple like skin

1: it is for the story
2: the scooper can probably move around, and maybe he knows that, or maybe he THINKS that, so he thinks he is hopeless

All lore aside, this animation is grand. It portrays the scene more clearly than the original. Seeing Ennards gestures makes them very lifelike, making what's actually going on all the more eerie.

Edit: Hello everyone thank you for the likes but I want to say so many of you are saying that he was tied up, but he couldn’t have been because he was guided to the room so he wasn’t tied up when he went there and when he entered. I think the most logical reason would be him excepting his death.

I always had a theory that ennard himself was a sentient being/own soul but since he was broken apart he had to have 5 other souls with him to get out of the place and have his original mechanical body

CaptainWitherDragon actually I do, I still think ennard is still his own soul as molten Freddy but had to use Funtime Freddys voice so he can talk(I think he lost his original voice) and used a Freddy mask he found since the mask he was wearing isn’t actually Funtime Freddys mask and the reason he acts deranged and messed up like Funtime Freddy is because of the years of suffering and hiding and hearing voices in his head for years on the streets
He was broken apart! The soul stuff that powers him is taken from the original 4 animatronics melted together.

@@あいして-h2l I had assumed when Michael entered the Scooping Room, Ennard knocked him out from behind and he woke up, to the voice of hand unit, tied to the chair. That's why the screen went black when he entered the room. But that's just what I think

Something about Ennard pulling the level is just...way more disturbing. Like Ennard is staring Michael down and committed to killing him. The person you thought was your sister and you trusted turned out to be a weird clown. It's different than just hearing the noise of beeping. It's like watching your executioner pull the trigger. You know what's coming but it's too late to stop it.

Ennard has very realistic movements from a human perspective. Makes it easy to imagine how they would move as mike.
I've listened to 2+ years worth of ASMR to listen and imagine being there and I'm proud to say...worth it

Yep but baby was in control of ennard during the scooping and when mike spat out ennard. However in Pizzeria Simulator, Ennard was known as “Molten Freddy” after ejecting baby, leaving Funtime Freddy in control, with freddys voice box with the molten jumpscare along with the molten mask
