Matt, when it comes to these modifications, you knock it out of the park every time. You also make the DDS-VFO simple and by adding in RFX making this radio the total great working radio. Kudos to you!!!!! 😊😊😊😊😊

I sent my RCI to Troy and they let it sit on the shelf for 4 months. They claimed they were too busy fixing emergency services radios that got sent in by 3 counties (3 counties' radios all went bad at the same time?). Meanwhile, they're boasting about the parts for the VFO stuff coming in and they're going to build as many kits as they can. They had time to do that and make videos for RUclips to promote the kits, but they didn't have time to check out my radio. Then they got mad at me when I told them to send it back (and of course they overcharged for shipping it back) and I'll get it fixed by someone else. They said "Sure. Send it to a hack shop that'll get it done in a week." Well, the "Hack shop" I sent it to is an actual electronics store. I looked up Troy's address on Google Maps and it looks like he's working out of his house. Who's the hack shop?
