Either Dezel doesn’t care for Lucas and is happy about his conquering of an Angel or he realises he cares for Lucas and chooses to stay friends. Not entirely true. Michael's character in SNO S2 was "Lucifer". De'zel is his son and has taken up that mantle. It was also mentioned that "Sathanas" (which is the Latin name for Satan) is a prince that didn't show up mostly due to his own uncooperative attitude and having to run two circles of hell.
