Those couple at years at Penrith where he was captain also, those were special days. His playmaking skills (honed in his Touch days) and the timing of his passes are so far ahead of his peers it’s incredible. I remember one day he was on fire at home, even kicked a goal from the sideline to top off the day. It was crazy that he wasn’t discovered until about age 22 but that happens sometimes. Still not sure why he left Penrith, he was going so well I thought he could be someone to take us to the premiership. Perhaps his body isn’t made for rugby league. I hope he can get more games so we can see those silky skills again.
Tbh even if he does retire or something, I wouldn't mind him literally dominating in root-grass football or reserve grade. Like he really is a good player just so many injuries and set backs have messed him up
fk would be great to see him at full health, the change in running style worked for Tedesco in the past, I mean when you think about it it's only been 2 years out with injury wouldn't be a far cry to see him finish off his career with an extra 100 solid games, tryna think optimistically for the poor bloke
