Honestly, i think i'd just about piss myself laughing, if, in reality, the third line actually said "something about rice". i would find that genuinely humorous.
Thanks to the can of congee video, I'm currently eating 8 Treasure Congee that I made this morning, adapting from a few recipes. It's the sweet porridgy dish eaten for breakfast but I made it savoury and added pepper and no sugar. It's so good! Would definitely recommend
Funny hearing you puzzle over how to describe something for once 😂 still, you did a pretty good job describing bc I think I can now imagine roughly what it would taste like
I won't try to figure out the IPA, but a n approximate english pronunciation might be like shie-kheh. The 'shie' is stressed and kind of has a stop before the 'kheh' part. sort of like some double consonants in italian, maybe? Man, it's tough to describe sounds over text...maybe I should try to figure out the IPA....Thanks for the fun video. I really enjoy all of them. It's such a nice corner of the internet to have found!
The writing in the package is definitely Korean. You can tell by all the circles used in the characters. Not sure what any of it says though just know the writing.
Korean it is. you can tell by the clear abuse of the circles, they're everywhere. Thank you for the close up... yeah, circles all over the place = Korean. Guy eats worms, no rice grains in my rice beverage! smh
@@AtomicShrimp The mystery deepens. The sync is now perfectly fine. Other than using the computer for work all day then opening youtube again, I did nothing. More investigation may be needed on my end. I have 5 computers I can try it on next time I see a lag in video.
Were you using USB headphones or something like that - they often contain their own little external sound card and can introduce latency (sometimes they have a setting in the driver to compensate)
@@AtomicShrimp I am using speakers wired to the PC. The sound was ahead of the video. I will have to wait for it to happen again to do any further testing
top line is: Barley Malt Extract 22.5%
second line: more than 6.5% Solids
third line: something about rice 2.66%
Thanks! - much appreciated

Weird stuff in a can is criminally underrated! Can't get enough of the the shrimp
If you can find it, I would recommend canned corn silk tea (옥수수 수염차). The taste is very interesting!
Korean here. That is quite a popular traditional drink. No, it is not alcoholic. Barley and stuff are used for sweetness.

Atomic does not like floaty things in his drink. He was nice on review.
I gotta pass when it comes to having floaties in my drink, no thanks! Thanks for the video tho!
I think it barley water, like a digestive or stomach settler x

On many of these, the sound is out of step with the video
It definitely is in sync on this one, which makes me wonder if the problem might be at your end

Maybe graphics card/drivers then, if the video compression pipeline is for some reason lagging a bit
Looks Korean, but I don't know any Asian language, so I wouldn't know.
