    Hey Vivaan!
I couldn't comment on that video. I have a question. I want to add my Philips androit tv to apple homekit and I planned to buy a Orange Pi Zero 3 1GB RAM DDR4. Would that 1gb ram enough to run everything what I need? I'm on budget. Thank you for your answer.

What platform do you plan on running?

If you have a Philips Roku TV, it’s natively supported by HomeKit. Otherwise, if you plan on using Homebridge or Home Assistant to add your TV, you’ll need to consider whether you want to add just that one device or multiple devices. An Orange Pi with 1GB of RAM should work fine for a single or few devices. However, for 26+ devices , I suggest a Raspberry Pi 3 or above with more ram . I do not have experience with an orange pi so I would not know a lot about it but my suggestion is to see if the raspberry pi or orange pi works for you in your budget and based on how many devices you would like to add the ram and storage!.
Personally I have a raspberry pi 3B+ with 1GB RAM 64-bit 2.4Ghz/5.0GHz which works perfectly fine with multiple devices but i suggest to get a newer pi or more ram to not have issues going ahead.

@@Vivaanstech so far I’ve only bought things that support homekit. If it can run multiple devices, not 7+ then its okay for me with 1gb ram. I would use a platform what has the lowest usage.

    Hello Vivaan!
I bought the Orange Pi and I installed the pre configured homebridge with the image to the sd card. But it seems it wont boot or I don't know. i can't reach the homebridge local and I can't see it on my network(its connected with an ethernet cable) I tried to reinstall the image but it doesn't work.

@@gamen8815 hmm sorry I’m not aware on how to troubleshoot on orange pi instead of Homebridge, maybe try Home Assistant or use AI like ChatGPT to troubleshoot as that helps when I have errors
