I worked for Nash in 94 and everything he says about living in the Bait factory is true. Bedchair in the office or night at the lake. Shower once a week and he'd keep a 20 piece KFC Bargain Bucket in the van which would last for 4-5 days. He'd drive Kevin nuts, but he'd never be without him. Legend
Pleased to see Gary doing well. I started Carp fishing since 1984 and whenever I contacted Gary for advice on bait he always took the time to reply even in the days of writing letters! Always keeps it simple. One of the genuine ones top man.
Another highly enjoyable and interesting interview. My second viewing actually. I've always been as much into the birds insects flowers etc as much as the fishing, I also think back to the old close season when I could walk around the lakes I fished and feed the carp mixers or boilies in practically every swim, equally as enjoyable as catching them, they became so tame, until the 16th!
Old Bayesy...out of his comfort zone but wow did he smash it.. great listen and serious honest opinion on his feelings...next time ask him about his desire for a trent 50....
I remember using as a tester the original SSL and we rinsed out every water we used it on. Sadly today the SSL is a shadow of its former self. Individual fish meals have changed dramatically through screening.
@@darrylclarkson1799 issue is even a far superior bait compared to the original, is fished in two entirely different eras, the worst bait could appear the best when carp wernt as pressured. Far more anglers, more fish being caught more times per season, they are becoming more cagey even on corn and pellet. I roll my own, have no vested interest in protecting Nash brands but Gary wouldnt lie, it's apples and oranges, ingredients and eras
Nice to see dean Hillings on a pod cast at last any info on #nashlakeroyston dont be afraid to ask me or check out Cee-Jay's carpy adventures as I have a few videos on RUclips on both lakes. And mad love to the legend that is Gary Bays what a man . I'd love to spend 24hrs just talking to him the stuff I could learn would be epic. Big up Hassan your a proper geezer. Mad love cj

Still a good bait but have to agree that it's definitely not the same bait as the 90's version.
Did you not watch the part where he explained how the old bait isn’t actually better?
It's called marketing mate, do you think he'd say the new version is not as good????
