Hi MK! I just found your channel. You've easily become my favourite Baking Channel. Your personality shines brighter than your beautiful lemon cake. My daughter's 14th birthday is coming up and I'm definitely using your chocolate cake recipe with this whipped cream frosting!
Hola tesoro, podrías por favor enseñarnos a hacer un buen panettone?. Muchísimas gracias por aportar y regalarnos tu experiencia y conocimientos y sobre todo cuídate muchísimo. Un saludo y gracias por todo. 😍🤩😍🤩🤗🤗🤗🤗🍀🍀🍀🍀🐝🐝🐝🐝☃️❄️☃️❄️☃️🍞🥐🍞🥐@@CakesbyMK
This is the way I've been making my whipped cream for cakes and cupcakes for a few years now. 😋 I'm glad to see others using mascarpone cheese. It's so delicious! Great video btw ☺️💕
I'm a big fan of u mariam. All your recipes are yummy. For this Eid I will try this frosting and wish u Ramadan and Eid Mubarak..from shaheen Mauritius
Kia ora, oh so great to watch your videos!! I also live in New Zealand, and I have struggled a little bit here to make my desserts the same way back in Mexico, cause ingredients, weather, height, etc. So I am really learning with your videos!! Just a question with this one: does this whipped cream last like for a wedding cake? I don't quite enjoy the taste of buttercream and I am looking for other options. Thanks so much!!!
All this time iv been using cream of tartar, but Ur secret ingredient (mascapone) worked wonders. It really did stabilise, easy to pipe and most of all delicious Thank you MK for Sharing this recipe. 😊
So you thought it piped well? Just checking because I have a birthday coming up that I need to bake a cake for. Would love to hear from you as to any issues you may have had. Thank you!
Yay! So so happy to hear that :D if you manage to find a spare minute I'd be so so grateful if you can kindly leave a review on my blog, it really helps my content reach more people :D thanks so much again for trying the recipe :)
I’ve been avoiding doing whipped cream frostings because of the lack of stabilization. My granddaughter wants me to do her birthday cake this week and wouldn’t you know it…she requested whipped cream frosting. I’ve only just become a hobby baker and I just came across your video channel and literally love your recipes and techniques. This video so far seems more promising than what I’ve seen so far….so, I’ll be using this recipe!
Hi MK. Thabks for your recipe. Can you please show the brand of the whipping cream and the mascarpone you use for this? I only found one brand mascarpone - Tatua.
Hi MK, I have watched your RUclips videos and really enjoy them, thank you. Just wondering with the stabilised whipped cream, can you colour it with gel colours? Thank you and continue to make your yummy goodies. Donna (from south coast of NSW, Australia) x
I’ve watched so many videos on how to make stabilized dairy whipped cream without gelatin. Mascarpone cheese was an ingredient used in another video, and then reading the comments on a different video, someone suggested Wilton Clear Piping Gel. The Wilton’s YT channel gives proportions and directions on how to use it. I haven’t tried it yet but I will. One tip from the other video using mascarpone cheese is to use smooth mascarpone cheese. Grainy mascarpone will make the whipped cream slightly grainy.
@@waiataaroha great, you use what works for you. It was the video that claimed grainy mascarpone cheese makes whipped cream slightly grainy therefore to void grainy whipped cream, use smooth mascarpone cheese.
Mascarpone cheese is usually very expensive. I saw a video on how to make it at. Do you think it would work or should we just go for the commercial one? Thanks
if I use less mascarpone to stabilise, does it maintain the fresh flavour of the cream with the same results?, using as a cake layer as opposed to frosting so want less icing flavour
arrrr, you're videos are great but i don't have mascarpone in mauritius. i don't want to do a butter frosting bc i don't like the taste of it and idk if it will be good for a genoise cake. what should i do pls help.
salam! is it ok to add the mascarpone early on in recipe and whip it bc ive heard mixing it too much can result in curdled cheese? its happened to me which is why im hesitant about adding it in beginning...how to make sure it doesn't curdle?
Hey MK, does the mascarpone change the flavor of the whip cream significantly. The only reason I ask is because, I have a favorite recipe of all my family and friends where I use half vanilla custard to half whipped cream as the mixture to pipe into my cream puffs, and I have some issues with it being to runny at times, BUT I also love the flavor profile so I don't want to change that. Your stuff is amazing . Thanks for explaining things in user friendly terms.
I love whipped cream as a frosting. I have a blackberry cake that I came up with and used whipped cream frosting, but had no idea how to stabilize it. This is everyone's favorite cake that I make, so there are rarely leftovers, but if there are, the whipped cream doesn't hold up well.
I have the same request, lol. Love them. Love putting them on my Pavlovas with the other 3 main berries. I have a bag of frozen blackberries in the freezer just waiting to be used. Please share if you don't mind. TIA...
Hi MK, Mascarpone contains citric acid. Can I use it with dairy whipped cream? I am asking because I thought Mascarpone will spoil the dairy whipped cream?
Have you tried pudding mix for whipped cream frosting? It is the most stable and yummy option out of all other options (gelatin, mascarpone, cream cheese, starch, etc.) And above all that it is ridiculously cheap compared to mascarpone and cream cheese.
Yess pudding mix is another great one! :) And you're totally right it's way cheaper. I just prefer using mascarpone when I can as it doesn't alter the flavour profile too much :)
Hi, thank you for the whipped cream recipe. Can you post a video on a vanilla cake base that uses whipped cream frosting. I checked your videos, and you mostly made cake bases for butter cream frosting.

Thank You for sharing this awesome recipe. Please share the taste of this whipping cream - can u taste the mascarpone cheese? I am looking for vegetarian ( without gelatin or instant pudding) way to stabilize the whipping cream.. Any suggestions? Thank You!
Hi Roshni! It tastes very similar to a regular whipping cream as mascarpone doesn't have an overwhelming flavour to it :) in terms of other vegetarian options I'm not too sure but people say powdered milk works well although I haven't tried myself :)
Hi! I did the recipe yesterday and it’s delicious but not this smooth consistency. I followed all of your instructions. Please how can I get it to this consistency? Thank you 😊
Some brands of mascarpone can be a bit grainy which can make the overall whipped cream grainy so try to find one that is smooth (sometimes they even say smooth on the packet), otherwise you might have to test a couple. Hope this helps!
Can you use mascarpone along with melted/cooled white chocolate? The white chocolate stabilizes my whipped cream pretty well, but I wonder if using the cheese in addition to it, will make it even more stable....with the chocolate, once its melted I add a bit of warm heavy cream and then make sure it chills in the fridge for hours before adding it to the remaining heavy cream

I just used this and it is soooooo good!
Can I use this frosting for tres leches cake?

Hey, I used to add mascarpone and indeed it is very stabilized, instead of sugar I added condensed milk. Much love from Romania💓
