    How wonderful she is...and so useful to her family even in her elder age. Hopefully...she is passing this skill to the other generations.
    It would be a great learning experience to see more info on that loom...as well as how it is set up.

    Please throw these videos. I am looking at getting old picking washing spitting and then dying it and doing tartans. They're so lovely

    This is so interesting! I wanted to learn more about the early textile creations in human kind . I was always very intrigued on how ancient european civilizations created plaid desings. It seems pretty complicated but now i get the idea

    So lovely, she must be well into her eighties. I'm having a tartan woven for me in the traditional manner in Selkirk, Scotland, but obviously tartan isn't exclusive to Scotland. Maybe a Celtic tradition going back to pre-history (the Celts originally came from eastern central Europe) I would have liked to have know a lot more about her, so a very unsatisfactory video in this respect.
