Hey Maddy, the reference to Kirk Gibson's home run: Gibson played for the underdog LA Dodgers in the 1988 World Series. He was hobbled with two very severe injuries (back and knee) and was in an astonishing amount of pain, to the point that he had not even been in the game at all until the very last play of the game. The Dodgers were behind the Athletics, 4-3 in the bottom of the 9th inning, one man on base, with two outs. He came to the plate, barely able to stand or swing. He was going up against one of the greatest pitchers in baseball history. It seemed like a joke that he would even be standing there. He took what looked like a pretty lame swing and hit the ball; somehow, it carried far enough to go out of the playing field, and the Dodgers won the game. All because of the most improbable home run in history. Here's a clip if you're interested: ruclips.net/video/0toCMwEBwLo/видео.html

If bohemian grove threw you off you need to catch up on Bill Burr. Check out his Monday morning podcast, on Thursday there's a short podcast followed by one from years ago,I think they're up to 2016 now. He was big on conspiracy theory years ago( possibly still is but just doesn't talk about it), that's why he decided to get his helicopter pilots license.
You should follow his Monday Morning Podcast, it's full of his great 'conspiracies' and 'opinions' on things in geopolitics and such. You'll love it. It's a bit much on the sports/baseball stuff sometimes (I'm in NL, Europe so I could not care less, cannot relate..), but other than that the podcast is very entertaining.
Maddy, I've been searching for this documentary about the 1980 Olympic Hockey team I watched a few years ago where they really went into detail. The USSR had a pro team with kgb agents on it, one of them actually dropped a pew pew on the ice during practice and we had a bunch of guys who played amature hockey, maybe some college hockey, maybe semi pro but wee tough as nails, had something to prove, were 100% patriotic because we were still in the cold war and beat the crap outta the pro team. The professional team was not expecting the tough as nails street guys on our team. And as far as the poles, I'm probably going to sound real creepy here with all the compliments I've given you but I'm 42 and I have never been polled in my life on anything. Neither has anyone I know and if you look at the poles when they tell you how many were polled and which side they said they belong to, it's all bs.🤣
There's a video on youtube of a certain person who snuck into Bohemian Grove & documented it but its shadowbanned but with some digging you can find it.
