This particular song was first used on "SCOOBY DOO,WHERE ARE YOU" from the 1970-71 CBS season, when "JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS" made their debut! but three years later, this very same song was used as a main music number,in "TABITHA AND ADAM MEET THE CLOWN FAMILY",on "THE SATURDAY SUPERSTAR MOVIE" on ABC-TV in Fall 1972. this Hanna-Barbera cartoon movie was something of a spin-off from the departed "BEWITCHED" TV series, which had just finished its 8th season run on ABC,and since Hanna-Barbera was responsible for the opening credits of that TV series,it was only fitting to have made a cartoon spin-off,only if it was just a one time shot,,that was, until "TABITHA" got her own ABC series in early 1978,starring Lisa Hartman

I have to say. I love Scooby Doo, and although they may be making new odd versions of the gang, atleast they aren't letting it fade away. Scooby Doo fan forever. :)
And for me, it's the only chase song which got translated to my language and performed during the season 2 of SDWAY (the others were reduced to instrumental).
