New faster larger chair lift installed on the Warm Springs (north) side. Takes you straight up 3000+ ft. from base to top in just 8 min. Faster than most skiers can go down. Your going to get a ton of of vertical straight down 3000ft. skiing with no let up. But with a low elevation you can catch your breath, hopefully
@@bluebirdskipeople can also fly to the Magic Valley Region airport; and take a taxi, Uber, some other forms of transportation to the Sun Valley ski resort; Ketchum.
@@bluebirdski Thx for responding. I will have to check to see if you have done a video on Revelstoke or panorama. Next to Whistler Blackcomb what is your next go to Hill in Canada?
@@adriancampbell8310 Revelstoke was my first ever review. I just talked for ten minutes and tried to do some editing... It is my favorite area in Canada. Panorama surprised the heck out of me. Felt like an unknown gem. I only live a few hours away and nobody even talks about it.
@@adriancampbell8310 haha, I prefer Reve, be it if you caught Panorama on a storm cycle and are an expert skier it could be epic. The town of Reve is cool, but the village at Pano is pretty convenient.
I appreciate the video and commentary but while our ski group loved the resort and town in 2023, after the trip, no one said they wanted to come back for the skiing. First of all, Bald Mountain is largely for advanced to expert skiers with its steep slopes. There are few true intermediate runs except at Dollar Mountain which is actually nothing but a small hill. The folks who drive the grooming machines on Bald Mt. must have been on vacation the week we were there. The slopes were not only hardpacked and icy the entire week. In addition, many runs were in the shade which made every carving turn extremely challenging. Unfortunately, Sun Valley does not get a lot of snowfalls or huge dumps. People who like all of the intermediate runs at Snowmass, Breckenridge, and Vail will not have a good time at Sun Valley I am sorry to say.
@@brucerehberger9080 you're welcome. I have good footage from there. I stayed five days. I'm focusing on Utah videos for now, but hope to get that one done soon.
I've always been able to find a spot at the Warm Springs parking area. Their parking is pretty darn good and free. You may have to walk a couple hundred yards, but you'll find a spot.
I am looking forward to visiting Sun Valley someday. Thank you for posting this informative video.

Great Video's. Looking forward to Whistler & Blackcomb video. :)
Whistler is awesome. Bachelor and Chrystal are next. I hope to get to Colorado and make some videos for those resorts this year. Thanks!

I visited Steamboat this year and bet you'd love that spot. I've heard SV had a rough year. Sorry you didn't enjoy the skiing.

Nice overview. (Cristina’s restaurant has closed)
Damn, that's horrible. Hotpe somebody reopens it.

It looks open from the webpage... I know I butcher the name.
@@bluebirdskiSorry! I did look at another restaurant with a similar name that was listed as permanently closed. Great, I will try it.

How is the parking and lift lines on weekdays? Thanks!

I would park at the lodge and ride the bus SunValley or KART to River Run and finish the day the day at Warm Springs.
