Love the green in your garden Jack. Apparently, I’m currently in the same growing zone as you for the next 4 months. I don’t know what to make of it! I’m thinking of trying a small winter potted garden. Do have desert critters that like this idea quite a bit! Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving my dear friend. Blessings on those tomato plants.
Thanks Cindy. Keep in mind that growing zones don't tell the whole story. Out there, you're going to have to pay a lot of attention to water too. Happy Holidays!
Garlic is looking great. We have had a cold wave come through and everything that was a warm season plant is done. Always neat seeing tomatoes in winter.
The Praxxus cherry Tomato are beautiful plants, & great tasting tomatoes! The Garden Peach made a lot of tomatoes too, but they were very mild in taste. The greens are looking good. Our weather is all jacked up still...We might be getting winter this weekend, only about a month late...
Thanks Juani. Summer hung around for an extra month this year and then winter showed up for a few days. Now we're back in summer for Thanksgiving and then Friday we go back to winter again.
The garden looks GREAT Jack! That comfrey in the mini orchard will produce TONS of nutrients for you! Do you know about comfrey tea(for plants or humans)? Garlic looks good too! I just got some Garlic seed from my friend Monica yesterday... Red Russian! So stoked to have garlic seed stock again! Yep! Those look like potato sprouts! Yeah my experience with carrots same thing.. they need just a little cover for good even moisture for good germination. They are always so tricky to get going! 🥕 Maters are rockin! You won't regret the struggle with the asparagus when it finally comes around! I'm gettin stir crazy too! Too much screen time! cheers Jack! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks CJ. I usually just spread the comfrey leaves around the garden but may try making tea for the plants at some point. That garlic is from what I grew last year after getting seed garlic from Keens. I suspect I'll have a lot more than I can use.
Look forward to your videos. Keep on gardening ❤❤❤
It started out a bit slow this season but I'm catching up.
Your garden tours are always, enjoyable, even when things slow. down.❤ love, mom
Thanks Mom. I do have more seeds sprouting to fill things in. And if we don't get a hard freeze this year my season could last until spring.

Thanks Rick. Looks like we have a taste of Florida "winter" down here as well but most everything is still growing.
Good looking tomato plants. Too much garlic, Jack...never!!😅
Thanks Greta. At least I can keep the vampires away! I wonder if it works on zombies?

Roller coaster weather for sure! Summer stayed around an extra month down here too.

30 degrees here
Brrr! I don't envy you that!
Yes sir, that is potatoes.
The dang ole Praxxis.
Four or five of the potatoes have come up and are looking healthy. And there are a few small tomatoes on the Praxxus now.
Near 80° temperatures!!!
Yep! 84 yesterday and 81 today. Then Sunday it is supposed to get down to 44! Roller coaster weather.
Snow flake looked more like a snowball.
Yep, she has a happy life! Licorice is more like a butterball though.
