I am a software developer in Mumbai by profession. Studied in IIT. The concept of swing and reverse swing have always amazed me as a student of science. The whole story from Salim mir offering the dark art to Imran khan while retiring and Wasim use it to deliver two deadly swing+reverse swing balls in that World Cup match taking two wickets back to back (Alan lamb and Lewis) bowled against Australia sealed the cup for Pakistanis in that fairy tale of a victory . It’s unfortunate that most Asian countries don’t even understand the concept of it now. Ball can very well reverse in 15th over keeping in mind the bashing ball got a turbulent air flow on shiny side caused by bumps got from spit and rough patch acting as shiny. By the way.
