- Union Home Minister Amit Shah clapped back at Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh after the latter credited former PM Jawaharlal Nehru for Jammu and Kashmir’s accession to India. Digvijaya Singh argued that only Nehru and former J&K chief minister Sheikh Abdullah for Kashmir being a part of India. Amit Shah reminded Digvijaya Singh of then Home Minister Sardar Vallabh Patel in Kashmir’s accession to India.
