Remarkable performance. I adore this piece and I have heard it sung so many, many times (though, sadly, never live), yet you have let me hear it again for the "first time". For me, Westminster Chorus and Stanford Chamber Chorale with the Choir of Royal Holloway (in separate performances) own the emotional interpretation, the heart, of this amazing song. However, YOU, gentlemen, have brought the richness of the harmonic textures out into staggering, mesmerising "view". I am not that taken with Eric Whitaker (though I do love "Lux Aurumque"), but you have shown me that this work of his is *far* more interesting, intriguing, and better written than I had ever realised. Thank you, so much. [ I must admit, though, I *sometimes* contemplate starting a campaign to make coughing in concerts a capital offense ]
