FYI- For use of drones anywhere in Bhutan you have to seek clearances from Bhutan Civil Aviation Authority. You should also seek clearances at immigration office at thimphu before heading to the destination and approach the office on the way or else if you were caught up without immigration permit else where where permits are required, you will be penalised. Beautifully made video 👍.

Clarification on Dochula: the 108 chorten/stupa was built to help all those who died while flushing out indian militants like ULFA, BODO and KLO.
The uniqueness of the chorten is that The chorten is not only for the soldiers of bhutan but it is also built for the militants who were killed during the operation.

We are planning to visit Bhutan in december. I just wanted to ask you can I get cab from Bhutan immigration to thimphu. Any advice?
Or if you have any taxi driver number from Bhutan please share with us.
I didn't hire a taxi so i don't have contact details but i did check for the Taxi, once you enter Bhutan border you can hire a cab.. usually they charge around 4000-5000 per day also there is a shared traveller or bus which you will get from RSTA office.. no idea about the charge

We just returned from Bhutan without entering, post COVID trip is extremely costly, skip Bhutan. Don't go.

and regarding not having guide, there could be loopholes as we recently reopened and still adapting and looking forward to do it better each time. and lucky if you are not in trouble, but everyone should not expect to be lucky and don't expect the Bhutanese police and government and public to be kind. this is just my personal opinion. hope u guys have will make wonderful memories

I think cuz indian being neighbors they don't get a guide and get free entry to bhutan
Regarding the guide we were not asked during immigration but we did paid 1200 per day for SDF coz we had to visit other parts of Bhutan
If you just want to be in and around Phuentsholing border for a day then there is no fee

Guys, if you have permit for only Paro and Thimphu then I do not recommend you to visit Phobjikha. Traveling without a guide is against TCB guideline. Just sharing my concern for you.
We were concerned about this too..
As far as I've seen bhutan police and checkposts are very active but nobody was present there and we were not stopped..
At the checkpoints, you are supposed to stop and get/show your permits to immigration officials at the point.
We did stop and had a conversation there while checking with the locals also but there was nobody present as u must have seen in the video while we were crossing the 'if that was the checkpoint'
They will not stop you as u did something wrong...u hv to stop n hv to show ur permit....as well TQ for visiting our beautiful country......
Drones are not allowed in Bhutan unless you have permission..I think your upcoming video have drone footage..

it’s a new tourism policy to have a Guide, which is mandatory and about permit to go beyond Dochula which is another district, you need to apply another permit from Thimphu.
Cops and immigration people didn’t do a good job there.
Anyway I’m just informing you so that your people don’t get a wrong idea when they visit Bhutan. Peace ✌️

Please be responsible and respectful tourists and follow the county’s tourism guidelines so that you don’t create hurdles for the future incoming tourists from your country.
The way you were assuming about Dochula is one of the reasons why you need a tour guide.
It’s not about how you were able to escape from check posts or cops, it’s about your morality and ethicality. (Absence of inspections and officers at checkpoints were immigration officers lack of professionalism as well)
