I don't believe a word you say because I'm a dopamine deficient pessimistic nihilist on the spectrum, and I think sense I constantly feel drained and lifeless that that somehow means everything else in the universe is also. I'm a totally sane and normal individual which is why I constantly think myself into having chronic depressions and think you and everyone else should think like me. Despite life having no inherent meaning I INSIST everyone should stop believing in God because I want everyone to suffer like me. Ian's eyes exude love and light. I only ever met one other person in my life who had that to that degree. I have seen people who had SOME of it, but this is very different. The other's name was Turk, I met him when I was five, and I can still see his eyes in my mind though I am now nearly 62. I never saw him again, as he had passed shortly after that.

I love this story I’ve shared it many time through the years. I had my own NDE at the age of 13 I believe I drowned not sure how long I was in the river my friend started screaming and 3 boys down around the river bend heard her and came to help . I was rebellious selfish not a good kid, but the love I felt was .. no English words can do justice but I felt so cherished,I’m almost 68 and remember every detail and can’t wait to go back to that place …when it’s my time! I’m not perfect but I’m so grateful to have had a 2 nd chance. 2 nd chance I was given

It took me five years to sort it all out so I was about 12 or 13 when it happened before that time I was wild crazy rebellious after it happened. I plugged into helping the disabled at my school. I made it on the honor roll for the rest of my high school years. I was still searching , I enlisted in the military right out of high school but I really didn’t find Christ until I came home and my mom had accepted Jesus her influence and others helped but honestly one night I was home on leave. They threw a big party and I’m sitting on the couch watching all these people get wastedat a kegger in my heart, I said I know there’s more I have been searching for truth all those years. I didn’t drink much after that. I was always the designated driver. That night I saw a Bible on and end table I picked it up, opened it never read the Bible before in my life, and my eyes fell onto one passage scripture the piece that passes understanding that’s what I felt in the presence of that light was beyond my ability to describe beyond any English words I knew and at that moment, I knew the Bible was where I was gonna find my answers, and I have been reading it ever since I excepted Christ in 1976 and have tried to live by His example Thank you for asking Blessing

Ian visited the Christian Centre in Nottingham UK - it was probably the early 1990’s - I’d not been a Christian for very long at the time. He shared his testimony with the church and it was such a blessing. I loved hearing it again here and are so looking forward to part two.
Amazing!!!...What I loved about Ian's testimony is that he confirms all he has seen with the bible..Gods beautiful love letter to His people. God's word is truth and Ian was blessed beyond measure to have experienced its truth. I could feel the presence of the Lord as he spoke...it brought tears.

The narrow road is talking about the path of righteousness and truth for which we must live. The wide road/path is the way the unbelievers live in continuous sin that leads to their own destruction. .
Love love loved this! I also love that you often have your guests only touch lightly on the lead up to their death experiences. These lead-ups are interesting but can be found in other places. The real heart and treasure of the stories are in the after dying portions and you always dig deep here, which is what we love and need most! God allowed me to visit Heaven once in a dream when I was suffering greatly during my life. I will never forget the feeling of that love. Nothing on earth compares. I had a dream with Ian McCormick in it 19 yrs ago. I heard his name being spoken and, "He has the answer." The next day, I googled his name and found out he was visiting a church a few hours from me the following week. I met him after he shared his testimony and he prayed one word for me.. LOVE. This most genuine NDE literally made me cry! I felt closer to God when I heard this story. I'm also 'born-again' LDS Christian. I have accepted Jesus as my Savior. Thank you for sharing this Ian! I appreciate your authentic experience and you have the gift of eloquence. When you saw Jesus having white hair and then you read his description in Revelation, it made me think of the experience of an honorable man in the temple of Kirtland, Ohio. I was born again back in 1996 but this past year, I have been watching many NDE RUclips videos and I could feel myself being influenced by all of the talk about spirit guides, and some that say Jesus is just "one of the many masters, like Buddha and others". Many of these NDE videos criticize the Holy Bible, saying it is not true. Although I continued to vow to Jesus that I will never leave Him, which I won't, I was being drawn into this trap. I needed to hear your story and confirm my understanding that THE FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT are the ONLY GOD! I was saved by calling on JESUS, no one else and He has been my Lord and Savior ever since and always will be.
Amazing that there are times I feel like this guy when he cries in "joy" (for lack of a better word) because of the magnificent grace and love of God, And I have known Jesus since I was about 8 and still feel this on occasion!

This brought me to tears. God gets the glory every time. I pray that Ian’s testimony will change many hearts who have heard it. This proves that God can draw anyone to Himself even a staunch atheist like Ian. This gives me greater hope for my daughter who has adopted a hodgepodge of atheistic beliefs that encourages her to rely on herself for everything rather than on the all-knowing God.
what is 'glory' to a being that made everything? its just a word. a projection of man's ego and need to be noticed and loved and adored and praised. if you cannot accept and love your daughter despite her beliefs then i pity you. stop trying to convert her to your beliefs. it is not her path.

ian's testimony is incredible and real i have been a Christian since 1992 and I always watch ian's testimony from time to time there are many people who need Jesus and listening to Ian s testimony is the key for many people to come to Jesus
I’m so encouraged to listen to Ian, he is lifestyle reminds me of my son, Cade, who committed suicide on Nov. 1 2023. He was a musician into sex and rock and roll. Cade was raised in a Christian home and was saved by Jesus when he was a child. As an adult he got away from the Lordand said he was an atheist. His reason for suicide was mental illness and total disappointment of losing his father at the age of 12 and then feeling totally deserted by his family as the death affected us all in and stunted our bonding as a family as we all dealt poorly with the loss. He estranged himself from us and stage 36 took his own life. Ian gives me hope that Cade faced the Lord in the same way and now he is engulfed with love. This is my prayer that he is there and happy.

Oh my God. When he talks about wave after wave of love? I experienced that when Jesus visited me during a meditation. You can't even breathe during that, it is so powerful. And a human cannot stand it for longer than maybe 15 seconds. When I came out of that mediation, tears were streaming down my face. Like Ian, I have no idea why I was given that gift. Either no one deserves it, or everyone does. I'd like to think the latter. Or maybe it's both, and it just is.

Wow... great NDE! Thank you. Being Christian for over 30 years, I've come to understand scriptures and what they mean. The narrow road is talking about the path of righteousness and truth for which we must live. The wide road/path is the way the unbelievers live in continuous sin that leads to their own destruction. .

Love love loved this! I also love that you often have your guests only touch lightly on the lead up to their death experiences. These lead-ups are interesting but can be found in other places. The real heart and treasure of the stories are in the after dying portions and you always dig deep here, which is what we love and need most!
God allowed me to visit Heaven once in a dream when I was suffering greatly during my life. I will never forget the feeling of that love. Nothing on earth compares. I listen to these NDE’s to remember. God is so so good. He makes me weep sometimes.

I had a dream with Ian McCormick in it 19 yrs ago. I heard his name being spoken and, "He has the answer." The next day, I googled his name and found out he was visiting a church a few hours from me the following week. I met him after he shared his testimony and he prayed one word for me.. LOVE. That was the beginning of learning about the Father's love.

This most genuine NDE literally made me cry! I felt closer to God when I heard this story. I'm also 'born-again' LDS Christian. I have accepted Jesus as my Savior. Thank you for sharing this Ian! I appreciate your authentic experience and you have the gift of eloquence. When you saw Jesus having white hair and then you read his description in Revelation, it made me think of the experience of an honorable man in the temple of Kirtland, Ohio. He describes his experience as such: "The veil was taken from our minds, and the eyes of our understanding were opened. We saw the Lord standing upon the breastwork of the pulpit, before us; and under his feet was a paved work of pure gold, in color like amber. His eyes were as a flame of fire; the hair of his head was white like the pure snow; his countenance shone above the brightness of the sun; and his voice was as the sound of the rushing waters, even the voice of Jehovah, saying: "I am your advocate with the Father. Behold, your sins are forgiven you ; you are clean before me: therefore, lift up your heads and rejoice. Let the hearts of your brethren rejoice, and let the hearts of all my people rejoice, who have, with their might, built this house to my name." April 3rd, 1836 D& C 110: 1-6 . So many other references you have made about the new earth, the New Jerusalem are part of our fundamental belief system. I was born again back in 1996 but this past year, I have been watching many NDE RUclips videos and I could feel myself being influenced by all of the talk about spirit guides, and some that say Jesus is just "one of the many masters, like Buddha and others". Many of these NDE videos criticize the Holy Bible, saying it is not true. Although I continued to vow to Jesus that I will never leave Him, which I won't, I was being drawn into this trap. I needed to hear your story and confirm my understanding that THE FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT are the ONLY GOD! I was saved by calling on JESUS, no one else and He has been my Lord and Savior ever since and always will be.

This brought me to tears. God gets the glory every time. I pray that Ian’s testimony will change many hearts who have heard it. This proves that God can draw anyone to Himself even a staunch atheist like Ian. This gives me greater hope for my daughter who has adopted a hodgepodge of atheistic beliefs that encourages her to rely on herself for everything rather than on the all-knowing God.
what is 'glory' to a being that made everything? its just a word. a projection of man's ego and need to be noticed and loved and adored and praised. if you cannot accept and love your daughter despite her beliefs then i pity you. stop trying to convert her to your beliefs. it is not her path.

I’m so encouraged to listen to Ian, he is lifestyle reminds me of my son, Cade, who committed suicide on Nov. 1 2023. He was a musician into sex and rock and roll. Cade was raised in a Christian home and was saved by Jesus when he was a child. As an adult he got away from the Lordand said he was an atheist. His reason for suicide was mental illness and total disappointment of losing his father at the age of 12 and then feeling totally deserted by his family as the death affected us all in and stunted our bonding as a family as we all dealt poorly with the loss. He estranged himself from us and stage 36 took his own life. Ian gives me hope that Cade faced the Lord in the same way and now he is engulfed with love. This is my prayer that he is there and happy.
God has even more love and compassion for your son and his life experiences than even you do. God understands all of those things. ❤️

Oh my God. When he talks about wave after wave of love? I experienced that when Jesus visited me during a meditation. You can't even breathe during that, it is so powerful. And a human cannot stand it for longer than maybe 15 seconds. When I came out of that mediation, tears were streaming down my face. Like Ian, I have no idea why I was given that gift. Either no one deserves it, or everyone does. I'd like to think the latter. Or maybe it's both, and it just is.
