Why isn't this on mainstream country radio. It would be nice for those, uncreative, record people to put someone like him on the radio that doesn't sound like every finger snapping, ridin in my truck, with my girl down by the lake, drinking a few beer songs. This guy is such a smart writer as well as a unique vocal talent, that if they didn't have their tails between their legs, and just put song after song that is nearly identical, they might find some real diversity would be greatly appreciated. Anyway, this guy is great. A little John Prine in his sophisticated, funny and personal lyrics, and a distinct' understated vocal style like Randy Newman. Wow! Did I just put him in a group with Randy Newman and John Prine? I must REALLY like him!
