Great tutorial!! This will level up my routines a lot :D. EDIT: I'd also like to add that I love that you added subtitles to the video. It reminds me of Trung Bao videos where I can understand what he's saying even if it's in an other language.
Thanks man! Since I'm Brazilian I feel that it is important to put subtitles in Portuguese, but I prefer to speak English to reach more of the beatbox community =)
Pedro Serpa Cara eu já pensei nisso, mas é que já tem tanto material no RUclips, que acho que eu não acrescentaria nada novo aos tutoriais que já existem
This is actually just what I was looking for to help create melodies. I got BTK down with some other simple sounds. Before going off the rails and doing super complex sounds I want to be able to add stuff between and in beats. It just seems like everyone uploads tutorials on different techniques, but this simple one kinda gets left out.
Dudz Beatbox That'd be Awesome Like simple word play that could be used for a melody? Like here with "dum dum dum dum" I have a thing about copying people. I don't like copying styles (not sure if beatboxers call copying "biting" but dancers do), but for example first person comes to mind codfish and pwad. They use a lot of simple phrases, but they change the sound by modulating their voices in different ways. Applying several techniques to make even one sound, sound like several other different noises. Sorry on the side I produce music here and there so I have an idea how to change sounds electronically, not so much vocally. So getting some insight would be great.
@@DarkRockRipper nice idea of tutorial, this part specifically is not included in the tutorial I'm gonna post, but could be a subject for future tutorials (this one is already recorded, but I speak in Portuguese so I need to add subtitles)
Musicality is not easy bro. Musicality is easy to understandable that's why people think musicality is easy but when you make something musical from scratch is really hard to make amazing melody chords and the bassline. I don't now you learned music or you got naturally. But your musical track are pure art. You are underrated. I hope you got some attention. When i see your work and then i see your subscriber. I am always surprised.
It is called spit snare or BMG snare, if you're interested there are lots of tutorials on yt =). Basically you make pressure on your lips in the most centered position as you can, at first it sounds like a fart but later, as you practice, you gonna get a clean snare.
That bass doesnt have name, a lot of beatboxers use it, specially B-art, I recommend to watch his videos. It is a kind of concentrated lip oscillation with voice. =)
Mano, eu sei um pouco beatbox, mas queria aprender muita coisa, e vi um video na final q amei, q vc cantava e falava "mas so as minhas melodias animam geral" e queria saber fazer tipo esse som q vc fez no final q é tipo um sax grave, n sei o nome, mas... to me inspirando em tu haha, meu sonho ter ctg cntg pra aprender um pouco, kkkk flw man tmj, voa mlk, pu ti paaa

TylaDubya's tutorial really helped me get started. There's no AHA moment though. You just kinda suck at it until it sounds better over time.
