There's no masters, they're not going to make a master. EA sports BIG is who made it. Unfortunately they won't remaster the game for PS4. And there's no talk about it.

Everything is the same. The only thing is, ur start button is not...the start/options button to pause n stuff. lol. It's actually the bottom right of the touchpad pressed in. Weird, but only way the start button works in PS2 games.

I gotta redo my videos on it. I usually use Emuparadise… But sometimes they don't have certain PS2 games I'm looking for, so I go to CoolRom. Also, CoolRom is the only site I found that has the American version of Def Jam FFNY. Emuparadise just has the European version. bit.ly/2JI0Wc4 It's an EXE file, so don't think it's a virus or anything. U run the EXE and it'll download the ISO separately. If u need to run Codebreaker on it, I was the first on the internet to show everyone how to add Codebreaker to the game on ur JB PS4's. I even wrote a tutorial on PSXHAX. hey i have a question, i know u did this decades ago. but i was wondering. i have this for my ps4 as well. but whenever i play it the fps drops alot and it kind of seems like its lagging just because it keeps stopping, but im assuming its the fps. did you ever encounter that problem, if so is there a solution?
I only tested on a Jailbroken PS4 Pro. FPS was jittery from time to time but was playable. N no, I never found a solution. I just dealt with it. Im assuming since the Pro has more powerful hardware, it didn't do it as much as it would on a regular PS4

Too many rights and licenses to re-ask all the rappers that were in this game to remaster them. Plus, most of these rappers aren't signed to the Def Jam label anymore, so it might be next to impossible to make the developers remaster it 😟
I didn't really get it on PS4, like in the digital store or disc. The PS4 Pro used was jailbroken allowing people who use it to use PS2 emulators on it. This allows the PS4 Pro to use its graphics card to "uprender" the original PS2 game to 4K n higher graphics/graphical quality. If ur subscribed already, youve mightve noticed I can play n show this game in 8K graphics now on my custom built computer with a controller. The more up to date graphics card being used, the higher the graphics will be uprendered. That's the awesome thing about emulators. Emulate older games to much higher visuals on more powerful computer hardware. Anyways, i just took the PS2 ISO file (a digital copy of the game on computer), n converted/transferred it to the jailbroken PS4 Pro, installed a PS2 emulator on it n then just ran it.
Jailbreak a PS4, get an ISO of Def Jam Fight For New York, convert it to PKG format, install it to PS4 thru usb stick on the jailbroken ps4... that's how I did it. I no longer have my ps4 tho. Not since I bought my PS5 n built 2-3 PCs.
