- Hey Haunters! In todays project we'll be taking a sound activated prop and using a clever little device I picked up to make it motion activated! THe coffin was $40 at big lots but I had a coupon. The wireless alarm was $14.99 but You can always find a 20% off coupon for Harbor Freight. I'll also be sprucing up the paint job to make it my own. Let me know what you think 🎃

To eliminate hearing the beep you cold probubly cut the mic off the original circuit and remove the speaker from the alarm and wire the mic input to the speaker output.

Im not electronically adept and Im confused LOL. How did you stop the sound activator thingy that was already on the prop ? Did you just turn it off ? But how does the alarm make it work if it's off ?
Debra Thompson so when you pass the alarm it makes a beep. I didn’t turn off the sound sensor on the prop. The sound from the alarm makes the prop go off. So it’s like on demand sound when you want the prop to activate.
OOOH OK I understand now. I have a sound activated skull and it goes of if a bird flies by it LOL Does that help with that prop ? Have you noticed a difference ?
Well this guy is going to be in the middle of my yard display away from everyone and he won’t end up being activated on his own plus I don’t leave things up to chance ;)
