I am not a Barca fan, but Messi, at his age is still one of the best at the moment because he’s capable of creating chances and passes with high accuracy (not running as much). This wasn’t his best season, yet changing clubs and countries with his family isn’t easy for someone who played in the same club for over two decades. At psg they don’t need him to be the star of scoring goals, there is Mbape, he has a different role here. Yet, he should’ve scored at least 18 or 15 goals but again in normal circumstances. If we live to see next year, he will be much better.

I have always believed that messi was overall better then ronaldo but also wonder how he would adapt to a different team. So this season i watched his every game and he seriously looked lost on the field for first half of the season and only slightly improved in the second half and his finishing has been so bad like never seen before. This is understandable because it's his first time with a completely different team and can improve next season. However my respect for Ronaldo's has grown even more because of his ability to adapt to different teams quickly and still produce great numbers and performances and the way he has changed his game to be a striker from a winger as he aged is amazing. Even in a terrible man u team he has had stand out performances at the age of 37 which is crazy. If messi has another poor season at psg for his standards then I'll have to go with ronaldo being the greater player because he's a more consistent big game player then messi in ucl and he can adapt to different teams and leagues.
