No problem ! There arent too many around, but the low pressure sodium lights had a more yellowish cast to them when warmed up. I honestly hate the led street light at the corner of my property. I miss the greenish cast of the old mercury vapor light that was there. I swear that bulb lasted over 20 years !
I remember the low pressure sodium lamps that had more of a yellow glow where as HPS has an orange glow.... I got one of these as a drop light, kinda neat.

Can thease bulbs be tested for continuity with a volt tester? Or can the be put in a reg socket just to confirm the bulbs good?
The hps bulbs need to be hooked into a setup with a ballast and igniter. Usually a black bulb can indicate end of life
