The original company (Bugbear Entertainment, that also made Next Car Game) isn't here. So the game will not be the same, I hope it gets close to what it was, at least close to FlatOut Ultimate Carnage or FlatOut 2.
Flatout games have always had that nice blend of realism (barely) and cartoony arcade racing, this one looks like its leaning more towards the cartoony side, but im excited nevertheless
It was a franchise long before Motorstorm, but they're similar enough. Difference is; in Flatout you get to eject your driver and you can play minigames like basketball and bowling with the body! I hope this one is as fun as they used to be.
i just bought Flatout 2 for ps2 a few weeks ago and I remeber it being fun as hell when it first came out. but when I played it recently I'm like this game suuucks. you have to play story to ulock all the fun modes and I wasn't about to waste my time because the races are horrible and the way the cars move. i much rather race on Burnout than this. but if you can just give out all the fun modes instead if its factions races that would be worth it. at beast this is a $30 game title.

The FlatOut games made by BugBear were/are great, but FlatOut 3 by Team6 was total shovelware. FlatOut 4 at least looks like it could be okay.
Looks more like a new hotwheels game to me, I'll stick to wreckfest me thinks. Cool for those who will enjoy it though!
