Fun thing in America people over 4-5 years old (depending on maturity in evens case its 5 because of how intelligent he is and he is quite mature for his age so its safe to presume that it was very similar an the age of 5 but could be up to 18 years old) can have a concealed weapons license or have a knife that’s writhing 3 and a half inches mean while in the uk possession of a gun is a arrest-able offence and they act like there handling a bomb if you bring a knife into school
It’s 4-5 if you also include how much power the family has, if there a target, if they have a steady “healthy income” and of course making decisions responsibly so if they were hypothetically in possession of a gun whether it was a appropriate to use it or not for self defence yes but you would be trained to shoot arms or legs as well as the body but it is not encouraged to do so unless it is a situation that he can potentially die from then body shots would be encouraged and headshots would be allowed an if they die (personal shot) it would be marked down as self defence (first or second degree) murder it would NOT affect there future they will have a criminal record from there but its would be marked as self defence so it doesn’t matter it just means don’t fuck with me
