My favorite feature on this winne has nothing to do with the exterior or interior...For me it's the upgraded suspension, wheels, axle and ground clearance. This can go where no ordinary trailer, 5th wheel, RV can go. A lot of the roads I drive back into in the Snowy Mountains aren't accessible with normal tow behinds but with this little booger i can get all the amenities of an RV in the most remote places in the wilderness. I'll be keeping an eye on this agile little winne.

My favorite is the fold out couch-to-bed feature. It is so simple with no buttons. Overall, the interior design needs work because it still feels cramped, especially the bathroom and kitchen.
IMHO, the best overall features are: 1) Off road suspension tires 2) fold out bed 3) porch doors 4) length of trailer.
Wish list: 4 season insulation, lighter trailer, bigger & more windows.
    Thanks for sharing, guys!

Great idea but I would go all solar. No need to use propane these days. I converted a toy hauler into a mini RV. I store my bed under the countertop. It’s on rails for easy pull out. I have 2500watts of solar and a much larger DC fridge. But I live full time in mine and nomad.
I think for a weekend warrior this little camper would be great, but I bet they want quite a bit for it, and you still have the propane system.

Nice to see that the manufacturers are building what end users have been building for years to tackle staying off grid and do some off road camping. The bed in the "low" position looks to be almost shoulder high which would kill it for many folks. 58 or so inches is a bit high to climb in and out of bed not counting the memory foam which most users add to make the seating cushions comfy for sleeping. It wasn't mentioned but is the fridge a standard evaporative fridge that eats both 12V and propane to run or the efficient compressor fridge that could run almost endlessly on battery and solar? Love the garage for hiding the mountain or ebikes. Nice unit.

    • @jimyeats

I think the fridge term you’re looking for is ‘Absorption’ style fridge. Can’t say for certain but it didn’t look like there was any fins in the fridge for the heat exchange. I would hope in an RV actually geared for boondocking that they put in a compressor fridge.

The last 4 years we’ve been evacuated for wild fires, or deep ice freeze (8”+) and though yes moving is an option, it’s the entire state that sees it annually now. Anyway I think this would foot the bill to load up and evacuate and have home comforts, as well as all outdoor fun!

Neat trailer. I personally would prefer a full queen bed that folds up to side rather than the lift and couches below but that’s me. This just misses the weight limits to tow with my Jeep (3500 max). Not sure what the dry weight is, but probably still over that when you add gear in. The drop down bed would be something I'd probably remove. Looks like the loss of headroom would be more of a pain when you could just fold the couches together. I do like the cassette toilet/wet bath for this kind of trailer. I know you said there's no pricing on it yet since it's not really in production. So I'd imagine its north of $35k MSRP. Just a guess. Not a bad idea though. Good review.

  • @cferdinandi

I'm assuming you meant 320ah and not 320 watts for the battery. Even so, that's not enough to run a 120v AC for more than a couple of hours. It's great to have the option for lunch stops, but without a generator or major battery upgrade, you're not getting much use out of that AC off grid.

A family living in there with a cassette toilet? Will you take turns emptying that thing out, carry it to the dump station? No cooktop inside by the sink? Oh yes, the outdoor cooktop. It will need to be in the up position to put my four wheeler in there and there is zero chance those shocks and how they are attached to the walls will last long, maybe one or two trips. There needs to be a way to lock that bed into position and where all the weight is taken off those shocks and their attachment points.

320 Watt battery? Confused because batteries are not usually measured in Watts. Is this WattHours or did you mean AmpHours?

A key take away I got from your tour is the GVWR of about 4200 lbs. That is a great weight as so many vehicles with a towing capacity of 5000 lbs will be able to haul this feature packed trailer.

Length and weight? I read at the website its 6.5 ft frame but does that include the tongue or is it just the box?

Can you change some of the features? E.g., I would not want a microwave opting for more storage, and I would not want a cassette toilet opting for a different kind of portable toilet. I like the couch but would only want one. Are these adjustments made to order?

The closet is cool. Cassette toilet bad. Sink in shower good. Back door good. Weight should be 3500 or under at this length.

Don't need two beds and I don't like how the two benches sit so close to each other. Is there a way to just permanently remove one of the benches so there's only one?

Would that floor support a couple of dirt bikes? I'm guessing not or they'd have a ramp door option.
