That bass playing by Clark was the best yet on Thumpin’ Thursday. What an amazing player and guitar. It also goes without saying that it is always a treat when Nick picks up a guitar and joins in.
Clark bass sims is just the best. Give the guy all your vintage bass guitars now. Best bassist you've had on your show.
Fender needs to watch this video and make us a burst in that color! That's beautiful. Simply called "Butter Burst". Buttery yellow on the outsides that fade into a creamy white. Love it.

Is it the way he plays, or is it the amp settings? I almost shut my eyes and thought he was playing something other than a J bass. As though he had buckers in there instead of single coils.

It’s so much better when the bass is played with another instrument- no matter how nice the bass is or how good the bassist is (and Clark is the best bassist you’ve ever featured IMO) it’s just not an instrument that suits being played unaccompanied. No-one wants to hear bass solos. And I say that as a bassist.
