- How does a Transformer work? Find out in this video! An Electrical Transformer is an electrical device that uses alternating current (AC) to change the voltage level. It can also be used as a step-up or step-down transformer. How does a transformer work? Watch the video and find out! This video goes through the basics of how an electrical transformer works and then explains the difference between phases, voltage, and current.

🤷 MY REVIEW:
Video How Does a Transformer Works? is one of my best videos. I worked on it for about 4 months, it is made in 3D animation, even cooling air around an electric transformer and oil inside a transformer. Honestly, I think that I covered all the important things about transformers and make an explanation in an easy and understandable way. So, please, I expect any feedback from you, good or bad.

@ 6:51 in concentric type winding, If HV winding is placed near core more insulation will be needed. Moreover if LV winding is placed over the HV winding, how can we provide tappings on HV side? In LV winding, the current is more and hence it is not preferable to make tappings on LV side.
I saw lots of videos on youtube but this video is with a very good explanation and easy understandable to a novice...
after seeing your Mcb and Transformer video i subscribed and liked your videos
Thanks
Thanks for feedback
thanks alot for your Explanation at length
Thanks for nice feedback
Thanks sir,
I understood transformer topic just in 11 minutes, which i didn't understand in 3 to 4 online classes.
Thanks for nice feedback
Excellent explanations.
Thanks, for nice feedback
The Best and Detailed Explanation
Thanks, nice feedbak
Jako lijep kanal!Bilo bi super kada bih pricao na hrvatskom, fali nam dobrih balkanskih kanala s detaljnjim objasnjenjima iz elektro struke.Ako ne to onda bar hrvatske titlove za svaki video.Hvala i pozdrav!
Hvala na komentaru mislim cak da si ti prvi iz hrvatske koji komentira....Svakako u doglednoj budučnosti mi je plan napraviti kanal na hrvatskom
Hello There,
Excellent work. Lovely animations and very well narrated. You have a new subscriber for life.
Awesome stuff once again !

Thanks for nice feedback
Thank you so much you really helped 😊
Awsome, nice feedback
Nice presentation to Engineering students.
Thanks, please share, hit the bell ofcourse subsribe
Wow how wonderful u are such a highly skilled electrician engineer
Thanks for nice feedback, please share this video
Informative
Thanks
nice explanation
Thanks
Excellent
Thanks
Very nice video
Thanks very much
Well-done
😅
Thanks, I think that this was one of best of my video
Keep continue sir we are very useful your all videos 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks
Nice replay
Thank you for this incredible work!
However, it is very important to note that HV winding is placed over the LV winding, because insulation between the core and LV winding will be less.
Thanks, for nice feedback
Love ❤️ u sir from India
Thanks, please share this video
Thanks
No problem
Would like to enjoy the physical installation and termination of the transformer. Thanx.
Thanks
Very informative, yesterday my district transformer got burned due to the lockdown and poor maintenance
Now I think the oil must have dried out 🤔
Probably, transformer are complex machines, but very interesting... Also oil must be regular checked, filled if necessary....
good
Thanks
Very nice, how can I get the section of video in which oil is filled to transformer tank??
Thanks for nice feedback, we'll I have modeled this section in 3d max, also I have PNG SEQUENCE,
@@chrvoje_engineering is it possible to send this file ??
@@mustafaaljumaili6279 Welll, It is to much effort in this to send you file without compensation
For the transformer core why not using solid core?
Eddy current loss. If the core is solid, then larger eddy currents can occur in the greater cross sections of the core, leading to more core losses. If you laminate the core into multiple slices, then the boundaries at the edges of every 2 laminations prevent (or tries to prevent) eddy currents from getting too large. Hence less core losses.
You'll notice too that this video goes over standard designs for transformers as they're used today - everything is designed for better efficiency. More simple designs and models dating back to the invention of AC electricity in the 1800s might better explain the rudimentary workings of transformers, leading viewers to naturally conclude that improvements can be made: a bottom-up approach to teaching.
A video like this one, and many others on YT, instead teaches with a top-down approach: demonstrate the most complex yet realistic designs and models of transformers today to decipher working principles. Not necessarily a criticism against the OP, but rather that for beginners other videos might be better.
Why does your voice always change are you a human although thanks it was very help ful
HEHEHE, Im an alien, Thanks for feedback
