Almost 47 yrs later and I still get a little weepy when it comes to Elvis. It's strange how a person who I never had the opportunity to meet in person, had such a huge impact on so many lives. He always felt like family to me and still does. Thanks Jordan for the video. It's so sad that people can be so thoughtless and selfish. This is why we can't have nice things.
What a great opportunity that you got to see this place! And of course, thanks for sharing! I wonder why the Elvis Estate and/or Graceland doesn't buy and restore this property as another historic Elvis property that fans could visit.
I hate to disagree with this gentleman but I have read that Elvis bought the Circle G ranch in 1967 and then spent a small fortune buying mobile home, ranch equipment, horses and pickup trucks for everyone. Elvis only owned the ranch for a very short span of time just like many things he grew tired of it and Daddy Vernon was having a fit because the upkeep was costing way too much money. This is why he sold it. He didn’t start appearing in Vegas until the Summer of 1969 so it wasn’t because of spending too much time in Vegas it was because of the astronomical cost to maintain the property and staff.
That’s exactly what I read and the fact it was Elvis who wanted to buy it the sellers held out for a ridiculous high price , I think it was half a million or something!
He used to give lectures at the casino. He used to see Dr. Meyer in Memphis, and it was sometimes a 12 hour wait. We chatted for hours, very nice man, and had amazing stories to tell. Very gracious.
Wow, such awesome stories. I thought it was awesome how he gave Elvis the items back. I looked at it this way. The memories are worth more than any of the objects. Yes, they may be worth a lot monetarily but it’s the experiences that means so much more so cool.
It's so sad how Elvis couldn't have any privacy 😢 I wanted to be famous every since I was little.....about 7 years ago I went down the Elvis rabbit hole of research & movies and I changed my mind. All Elvis had to escape was drugs and as a recovering addict I understand. Rest in heaven Elvis.
Yes, I use to get a bit upset when the News would report how he could not get any Privacy. He would RENT out Movie Theatres and an Amusement park in Tennesee so that he could have Fun with Lisa Marie. Still Sad about Lisa's death... I kinda BLAME Tom Parker and Dr. Nick for Elvis' Death... They burned that man out...
Can't whomever is in charge of the Presley estate step in and save this ?I wasn't a extreme Elvis fan but grew up in that era...it's history please save it...😢 like I said, wasn't a huge Elvis fan but I can definitely appreciate his generosity and his contribution to many parts of history...
Interesting side story. I live near Los Angeles. A co worker grew up in Memphis. 1970's he told us he used to occasionally see Elvis riding his horse around town. Which sounds so surreal.
Elvis will live in our hearts forever! thanks for this memory! I got to see him 6 months before his passing! the old marine appreciates all of your videos.
Jordan thanks for doing this video I am glad that they are going fix it up. It is so sad that people are taking some of the bricks from around the property
The pink building was the Elvis Presley Country Club in 1974. Upstairs was for the adults. Downstairs they would have dances for the kids. We swam in the pool. It had a game room. I fell off the high diving board when I was 11 years old. We fished the pond and caught catfish. I am 59 years old today. All the families in the surrounding subdivisions were members. Some of the best times.
Seeing the ranch reminds me of his song Memories! Memories pressed between the pages of my mind! At the end that's all we will have! Enjoy life people!
Very interesting story. Sad the lack of respect for what is left. I believe Elvis was a quiet, shy man. I hope he rests in peace he never had on earth. Thank you, Jordan, for this video. Stay safe and take care.
Awesome Jordan, this is the best tour of Circle G I've seen so far and learned a few new things as well. I really hope they get everything done and it opens for people to see. Makes me sick to see people have been out there breaking stuff to steal pieces of it.
When Elvis moved out from CG, they didnt want to bring a lot of the furnishings back to Graceland (it was already cluttered), so they had a yard-sale. I have a barometer from that sale, sits in my den and its handy for me because it reads the humidity and temperature of the room where I keep my guitar collection, ideally the guitars need to be stored in a 45-50% humidity level, the barometer still works, and its cool to think that Elvis and his family/friends would have gazed at it just like I do today.
Thank you for the video, Jordan! It looks like I'll be spending more time with Elvis videos again today.😹 ...That's horrible how people will break off Elvis's bricks, especialy when they can't prove that was a brick from that house. ..I will love to see when they restore the ranch!
Wonderful video Jordan. So happy the funds came through for it to get restored. Certain Elvis groups have been fundraising for years. Who is the man you were with? He is amazing . Really enjoyed his stories and how much he cares
According to Elvis' cousin Billy Smith, on the Memphis Mafia Kid RUclips Channel, Elvis was forced to sell the Circle G because the Colonel "renegotiated" his rate of pay to a 50/50 split. The title "Why Elvis Sold The Circle G Ranch." The explanation starts at the 6-minute mark.
Hey Jordan, not gonna lie... Parts of this made me Tear-up a little... So you getting to meet this man and hear his story, Amazing... Elvis was a different kind of celebrity, he really was. My Mom was totally in Love with him. What Young girl at that time wasn't. In the late 1950's when my Mom was a Teen. At the beginning of Elvis' Fame. My Mom and my Aunt, her sister. Looked up Elvis Presley's phone number. CALLED him and got his Mom and talked to her. His Mom said, " Elvis is not home he is out on the road, Honey." The Presley Family from my observation were Genuine Kind People. Elvis was a Generous Soul as well. We all Loved him. He gave things away to people... He was a REAL Person. The last time I heard his Live Voice was when we lived in Landover, Md. We lived near the CAPITOL CENTER Arena. This was in late 1976, Elvis had a show there. We walked over to the lot by the Arena. We could Hear Elvis singing. Not knowing that would be the last time we heard his Voice LIVE... That Summer day in August of 1977 we were in our living room when the news interupted and reported, " Elivs Presley has died". It was like a Dam Bursting, we all lost it. I will NEVER forget that day we heard his Voice Live... Amazing Man and Spirit... Great Vlog, Thank you !
Yes the ranch is deteriorating. Today is April 17, 2024 at 2:10 pm CST. My friend was at circle G yesterday and it is still deteriorating today. There is no sign of any restoration being made. So sad. At least now it can be salvaged somehow and use original materials if they would renovate it before it turns to dust..don't let this opportunity pass by and turn to ashes.
What an interesting story, Jordan you sure know how to get us a good story! I hope this property can be built back to what it was when Elvis was here. I think it would be a real tourist attraction. Thanks for showing us this!
My dad is a huge ELVIS fan and as a kid that's all I heard playing in the house and I hated it because it wasn't my kind of music. It's crazy it's 40 plus years later he's one of my favorite singers. RIP 👑 1935 - 1977
Wow Great Work Jordan.Awesome Stories from that Nice Gentleman!Happy that Something at Least is in the beginning Stages to Preserve the Ranch.Horrible How “Fans” Steal & Vandalize
How are they protecting a historical site by letting it fall apart, but yet getting upset when people take bricks from a site they let deteriorate in purpose. The people taking bricks are the same people who made Elvis so rich that he bought another house he never bothered to visit. 🙄
"4 bricks lay... vertically... and the 1 in the middle of the 'E' is horizontal... No. I got it backwards... You know what I meant..." 😂 Gotta love that dude. Seems like a genuinely good hearted gentleman.
I loved elvises music 🎶 I have one of his LPS it's called moody blue he sure is missed the circle g ranch needs work it's a beautiful place good vlog jordan
The most famous man on Earth, yet so humble and kind. You are truly loved Elvis. 🫶🏻🌻🇦🇺
He really was.

It states on the plaque out front that he sold the ranch in December 1972
That’s what I heard the over spending forced him to sell
Joe Espisito said Elvis got busy in Vegas and touring so he had to give it up.
That’s exactly what I read and the fact it was Elvis who wanted to buy it the sellers held out for a ridiculous high price , I think it was half a million or something!
Great stories of a beloved entertainer , what a wonderful opportunity to be able to see that wonderful property ❤❤❤
I would love to see it all preserved.
i love Elvis Presley my dad got me started on him i been to Graceland such an amazing place
Elvis’ generosity is legendary ❤

Wow! Oh, I hope they do rebuild it! I can tell how beautiful it once was. Thank you again for such a wonderful video!
We grew up across the street from George Klein and his mom..My Grandmother took care of his mom for years!!❤ She was a very sweet lady!
He used to give lectures at the casino. He used to see Dr. Meyer in Memphis, and it was sometimes a 12 hour wait. We chatted for hours, very nice man, and had amazing stories to tell. Very gracious.

What an amazing episode! I will always be fascinated with the Elvis Story. So many great memories and questions at the same time.

Interesting side story. I live near Los Angeles. A co worker grew up in Memphis. 1970's he told us he used to occasionally see Elvis riding his horse around town. Which sounds so surreal.
I absolutely love people that are more than just tour guides but have a passion for what they're showing you. I love this man. ❤

Jordan thanks for doing this video I am glad that they are going fix it up. It is so sad that people are taking some of the bricks from around the property
Love hearing stories of Elvis
Wow…love everything Elvis!!❤
I'm really suprised the estate of Elvis allowed this property to fall into such disrepair. It's kinda sad really.
They didn't. The owners after did.
EPE doesn’t own it. It’s Privately owned
I would love to go there after everything is REBUILT ❤
This man is a treasure ! Great video!

HEY JORDAN......he is still the king! 🎼🎵🎶🎵
Yes he is...
When Elvis moved out from CG, they didnt want to bring a lot of the furnishings back to Graceland (it was already cluttered), so they had a yard-sale. As you can tell, I'm a real fan of ELVIS!! I got to see him in Las Vegas about 4 times, plus in Phoenix...
Thank you for the video, Jordan! It looks like I'll be spending more time with Elvis videos again today.😹 ...That's horrible how people will break off Elvis's bricks, especialy when they can't prove that was a brick from that house. ..I will love to see when they restore the ranch!
Thanks for the trip Jordan.
Thanks Mr. Jordan. Great video! I believe 100%, that Elvis resides in heaven now, with the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4.
Wonderful video Jordan. So happy the funds came through for it to get restored. Certain Elvis groups have been fundraising for years. Who is the man you were with? He is amazing . Really enjoyed his stories and how much he cares
Omg, I love this!

My dad is a huge ELVIS fan and as a kid that's all I heard playing in the house and I hated it because it wasn't my kind of music. It's crazy it's 40 plus years later he's one of my favorite singers. RIP 👑 1935 - 1977
I never knew this place existed wow so cool sad that people destroyed it
I just finished reading Jerry Schillings book. Nice to see where they would go ride and that cross is breathtaking. ❤
Wow Great Work Jordan.Awesome Stories from that Nice Gentleman!Happy that Something at Least is in the beginning Stages to Preserve the Ranch.Horrible How “Fans” Steal & Vandalize
Elvis will always be here
That’s Mr. Ed. He’s such a nice man. I’ve been to the Ranch, it was such an amazing thing to see. Great video. I’ll subscribe now.
Great video Jordan. All new information, I never heard of the ranch before.
Great video.
Can we get more context? Who owns this now and who is going to make the repairs and move the house etc? This is so interesting. Thanks Jordan.
How are they protecting a historical site by letting it fall apart, but yet getting upset when people take bricks from a site they let deteriorate in purpose. The people taking bricks are the same people who made Elvis so rich that he bought another house he never bothered to visit. 🙄
Fantastic video!! Thanks so much!!

If I ever become rich I'll be down there to help repair this Ranch you can bet that!
Dolly, you should buy this, I always forget my wedding rings there in real life! Real E. Without remotes
Man I love this Chanel Greetings from Australia
That was so cool. Never heard anything about his ranch.
If someone had taken care of this place and made it an attraction, it wouldn’t have been vandalized. Sad
That was cool. This like the old videos. The last 3 were really well done.
Lol , I was surprised Elvis didn’t go on a spending spree buying metal detectors to have a fun day of searching for it
Omg! I remember that! Hiluscinating bad this time
Great video Jordan I loved it Thank you
Awe geees you know someone who would love a BRICK from that site !!! Love him too ❤️
Not gonna lie.. I would..❤
Why doesn't somebody redo elvis presley's ranch To make it like a museum for people to see
Such a pity the Family havnt taken it on and secured the house and maintained it for the future and open it up as a tourist destination.
Enjoyed that!
"4 bricks lay... vertically... and the 1 in the middle of the 'E' is horizontal... No. I got it backwards... You know what I meant..." 😂
Gotta love that dude. Seems like a genuinely good hearted gentleman.
