- In this video, I showcase four of the fastest 1v1 starts in Fortnite creative mode. These new tricks will help you instantly get highground and outplay your opponent in a 1v1. I've wanted to make a video like this for a while, and with Season X being extended another week, I thought this would be a great time to try out a new video idea. I personally think the hardest part of a 1v1 is the start of it, where people do 90's and double 90's to get high ground, which devolves into 1v1s being based on who has the fastest 90's and get the ramp over their opponent first. The thing is, that 1v1 starts don't have to be this way, and after watching and learning from some of the best 1v1 creative players in the game like Parallel Cnnr, Parallel Beats, BH Woods, and even the King Bot ZaynSZN, I have compiled some of the best creative mode 1v1 starts into one video. All of these starts are extremely unique and will help you get highground over your opponent with ease, and without relying on doing fast 90's. So, if you're looking for the best and fastest creative mode 1v1 starts to help win more 1v1s and build battles, then this video will definitely help you out. Rare Pokemon 90s are only fast because you can jump over some of the ramp, if you do not jump, it is the same speed as just ramping up

Jerian... I've always switched to my harvesting tool before starting an edit. ALWAYS. My autistic brain was like: "lets switch to the pickaxe everytime so I don't build anything I don't want to!"
I did cone/ramp edits in half the time because I couldn't edit before I was standing right before the tile. My muscle memory is so used to switching that its going to take ages to get rid of this habit...
Now that I try to let go of it I can easily edit both left/right tiles of a floor AND cone while running, and this at every ramp I place in a row.
I feel like a lot of... "special" people like me are doing this... No one ever made me aware of this until now. I think this is very underrated and you should defiantly mention it once more.

At the end of the day, Clix's start is the best since it's the most effective yet simple
there is another one that was not mentioned in this video. i dont see anybody use it. Its better than the clix start and much more protective, but its very difficult to learn and to pull off consistently so all in all the clix start is still the best.

-sidejump to the left side

A few tips from someone who has mastered this high ground retake method:
When doing the first retake technique, instead of using cones use floors in case they get highground before you so that you can still build under their ramp since you obviously can’t put a cone under a ramp

Today is my birthday and seeing you realeased a video made this birthday amazing thank you jerian
on the MSF Clix start I started doing that as soon as I switch to KBM but I always jumped straight into a ramp floor wall instead of just a floor. it's a little more difficult for beginners but it's doable. you gain a layer of height without losing as much momentum from landing on just the floor cause when you land on the floor you have to jump again to place a ramp and build up. saves like half a second or so and saves your momentum

Tips: At 2:00, u can actually just put one wall and ramp to the left and another 2 ramps at both of the wall u placed. Something like the reverse jump. That way ur opponent will have almost no time to react.
