    I can’t get the fabric to look as nice as yours 😢 I keep applying it to where it has bumps and curves. How do you make it so perfect? I started with the nose

    • @bricesavina
      @bricesavina  Год назад +2

      the fabric must be a little elastic, after that you have to go millimeters by millimeters by stretching the fabric so that it matches the shape of the sculpture, it's quite difficult at the start, but eventually it becomes easier 👍🏻

    • @bricesavina
      @bricesavina  Год назад

      Thank you very much 🙏😊, eyes are made of plastic balls painted and gloss varnish , hairs are made with felt , this is called felting i use a special needles to give the shape 👍🏻

  • @Carbide-1
    @Carbide-1 Год назад +3

    Another mesmerizing video brother! Loved to see the braces come together, but what intrigues me the most now, is the hair making process.
    I think there's something I'm missing in that process, are you knotting the fibres tightly together when you push them into the foam, enough so you can then style it into the desired shape? 🤔

    • @bricesavina
      @bricesavina  Год назад +2

      Thank you very much 🙏😊the technique is called felting, we use non-woven wool with a special needle which allows with each stroke of the needle to tighten the woolen threads together and create a shape , you can see a lot of video on RUclips showing how it works 👍🏻

    • @bricesavina
      @bricesavina  Год назад

      Hi , this is fabric stiffener this allows the fabric to become rigid and it pills less, it is also used to keep the shape for example for shoes laying the fabrics on a small foot template and I apply, once dry the fabric will keep its shape and will be rigid
