This is the Russian president’s first trip to North Korea in 24 years.
It is believed North Korea is supplying weapons to Russia for its war against Ukraine.

This is more than 6 times the amount of rare earths as China. According to Bloomberg, this would more than double the current global stockpiles of rare earth oxides, which the U.S. Geographical Survey recently estimated at 110 million tons.
