His voice was like NO OTHER. He was incredibly dreamy. I'm still crazy for this man....it doesn't even get in the way the fact that he's gone. Lol

Bobby Hatfield’s command of his voice and the lyrics are profoundly moving. One cannot listen to him sing and not be in awe of his talent.

Here we are 50 years later and Bobby Hatfield is still on top of his game. This talent is limited to the very few!

If only everyone could have been there...1965 was THE year to be alive. Bill and Bobby were top of the heap..the writing, production, TALENT of the singers, orchestration, everything...all came together to create real music, which is supposed to touch the soul and send it souring, which Bobby Hatfield did on this otherwordly, ethereal classic for the ages.

Another masterpiece from 1965 by the incomparable late great 'Bobby Hatfield.' The ending note is to die for...

The instrumentals in this song are outstanding as well. I cry every time I hear this song because of the passion and beauty of this song. I'm 69 years old, and I haven't heard anyone match them, much less get to their level yet.

Other solos by Bobby from that period which show off his vocals are Sentimental Reasons (mono); White Cliffs of Dover; I Believe; Somewhere; If I Ruled the World.

I absolutely agree with your comments on Bobby Hatfield’s phenomenal rendition. Being a woman who always loved his looks and gorgeous voice, had I seen him live perform this song, I would have indeed forgotten whomever I had been with and it would have been just him and me. I could have done without the “Wall of Sound” created by Phil Spector.

Chad, there are no other artists like Bobby. As for 'rambling," you are revealing your feelings and that's real. When I hear him I lose contact with everything around me. I was a 22year old girl, seeing and hearing him on Andy's show in 1965 is something I never forgot. In addition to him being so handsome and extremely over the top talented, personally he was also a great husband and father, a great man!

I love your "rambling", as it reveals your own sensitivity and ability to really appreciate the magic of Bobby's extraordinary talent. He is ONE OF A KIND AND THE MOLD WAS BROKEN". I hope to see your reactions to more of his solos (all on You Tube). You will experience the amazing sides of his out of this world talent. He is gone, but he will never be forgotten. (1940 - 2003) . Thank you for that heartwarming reaction. Cathy

Goose bumps & chills from the silky give-it-his all vocals of Bobby Hatfield...simply an amazing talent. The Righteous Brothers repertoire of music is so varied and soulful. It's music that stands the test of time and will still be enjoyed & appreciated long after I'm gone.

I believe his signature song is Unchained Melody but this is another masterpiece by the great Bobby Hatfield. Thx for playing this. I was listening to this back in 65 and sounds just as great today.

This song is crazy. It takes me into another world. Righteous Brothers were tops when I was a kid when they were in their prime. What a contribution to music they have made. Classic after classic. They do, they have substance and SOUL., They have depth.

I am 76 yrs. of age and have grown up listening to the superb talent of the Righteous Bros. This is a superb production and one lesser played than the tops hits of their discography. It is one that has exceptional qualities, including the introduction, which sets the mood and establishes platform that takes you through a mesmerizing ride through ordered sound excellance ! db

I cannot put into words how Bobby Hatfield makes me feel when I listen to him singing. I just melt! Such a legend, such a beautiful soulful voice. He is by far the best popular music vocalist I have ever heard.
