We just made the move from a motorhome to one of these exact same colors and we are looking to enjoy it so much more! Your video is amazing in detail and it's really given us some crazy great ideas! We have truly enjoyed our motorhome but felt limited. We have 3 motorcycles between us and getting them on the road with us has been a challenge. Now having pushed the button on one of these, we're feeling adventures are on the way! Love your mods and ideas and think we'd like to do the same. Thanks for sharing! Happy Trails!
I'm not sure if we will do another video with this camper. We just bought a fifth wheel and are getting ready to sell this one. I think I have a few photos with both bikes loaded.
We are looking for our first toy hauler and this model looks perfect!! We haul a harley and are so excited to take it on our adventures! I love your ideas for making it look more "homey" How did you attach those shelves on the wall by the couch? Thank you!
I used a super soft plush fleece. When I went to the fabric store in search of fabric for those seat covers I wandered all over the store looking for the right color and something that was soft. You can use any fabric you like. Have fun with your project, it makes a huge difference!
We have the same rig as you. Like what you have done to modify it. We had some of the same ideas. The shower head upgrade is just about mandatory. Kudos for the shelf and storage above the window on the drivers side.
Trailer looks awesome, question, you said you were able to fit 2 bikes in there, are they both dressers? im looking at same trailer.Do you have a pic of the bikes inside?
Christopher, I did find a few photos with the bikes in the camper but can't upload them in here. I can email them to you if you like. Send me an email at bykerdogrv@gmail.com and I will reply with the photos.
Like the white interior, I wish RV manufacturers would stop using the god awful dark wood grain on everything thay make!!...... curtain on the back door is a good look to,well done.😎
Nice walk around. We have a 22RR as well and want to paint the cabinets white like yours. I wonder what kind of paint you used and did you have to sand down the original paint?
We used the Behr Marquee paint from Home Deopt. We cleaned the cabinets really well with Simple Green, a good degreaser and cleaner, and used the primer first then 2-3 coats of paint. We did not sand. It is holding up great so far, we did the cabinets about a year ago. If you decide to paint the walls and the cabinets, do it at the same time and use the primer on all surfaces. We did the cabinets first and then decided to paint the walls and ceiling. It would have been so much easier to do it all at once and not have to tape off one section at a time. It's a big project to tackle but totally worth it!
Yes! That fold down countertop is the best renovation we did! Such a useful space when camping and foods completely out of the way when we load our bikes!
We used Behr Marquee paint and primer. It is holding up really well. We did not sand, just cleaned all the surfaces really well with Simple Green. Thanks!
We used Behr Marquee primer and paint. We cleaned really well with Simple Green first. Walls took one coat primer and one coat paint. The dark cabinets needed three coats. It is all holding up really great.
I recently purchased two hanging closet organizers: amzn.to/2Gk2x7t We find that we don't really need all that hanging space. This gives us three good shelves plus a few inches of hanging space in each closet. They are also short enough to easily access the bottom of the closets, I keep jeans and other bulky items on the floor of closet. I had thought about building shelves but this is a great solution to improve the storage.
I love love love your designs.
The fridge panel.
The pantry net organer
The cover for bench. So many great ideals. Thank you.
Thank you. I really enjoyed updating this camper.
Great Job on the renovations. i really like them.
Thank you
I have the 18rr and will definitely install the folding shelf across from the kitchen side. Thanks for the info.
You're welcome!
Love seeing your very useful upgrades. The toy hauler is coming to the top of our wish list, even though we don’t have toys.
Thank you.
Great job - it looks fantastic.
Thank you. 😊

That's awesome! Get out there and explore!
I like the white paint idea. If you make another video could you show how it looks with both bikes loaded up?

I just love this!! I've been dying to cover my bench seats, can you tell me what type of fabric you used?

Great updates. We're about to get a 2021 22RR as well. Good to see it's possible make upgrades to make it more like home
That's awesome! I have had a lot of fun decorating the camper! Happy camping!

Thanks! I am having a lot of fun working on the camper. Still lots more I want to do.
I need to know how you installed the two shelves on the side of the pantry
Those are simple wood shelves, screwed into the wall and side of pantry with 1x supports underneath.
I love this! It looks so good.
Thank you! We are very happy with all the work we have done in the camper so far. I love how much brighter it is now.
We have the same camper and we are going to install a curtain in front of the ramp.
What mounting hardware did you use to mount the curtain rod?
I used regular curtain rod from my house. Works great!
Sorry, did not answer your question, I used the hardware that came with the rod.
Trailer looks awesome, question, you said you were able to fit 2 bikes in there, are they both dressers? im looking at same trailer.Do you have a pic of the bikes inside?
We have a Harley and a CanAm Ryker, a reverse trike. Yes we can get both in the camper. I will see if I can find a photo.
@@BykerDog that would be great, im looking to fit 2 harley street glides i really have low hopes on this

Byker Dog Thank you for the words!
You're welcome ☺️ good luck with your painting project. It is amazing how much some paint will transform the look and feel of the camper!
@@BykerDog Definitely! I also love how you change the side sofa to a tabletop and eliminated the dining table, opens lots of space in the camper too.

Thank you for the quick response! Roller, brush, or spray?
Roller and brush
Nice Video. What kind of paint did you use and how's it holding up? The curtain is a great idea. Thanks!
We used Behr Marquee paint and primer. It is holding up really well. We did not sand, just cleaned all the surfaces really well with Simple Green. Thanks!
What type of paint did you use? How did you apply it? Thanks

@@BykerDog thanks, we just picked up a 2016 26rr...way too dark inside.
Painting is a pain, but makes such a huge difference!
Did you make any changes to the bedroom closets? We just purchased the same trailer. I really like the way yours looks painted white.
