- Today I took a stroll around the 'Ditto Trail' in Dawlish - It involves finding wooden houses hidden away, that are supposedly the homes of the Dittos. The Dawlish Dittos are almost like fairy folk, and star in a couple of Childrens Books. For more info on them & the books, check out dittosofdawlis...

Thanks bill I owe you big time. Down there in August and my grandchildren want to do the ditto trail. You just made nanny and grandad look very very smart and on the ball come aug. With a little preview. 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆 now there know grandad is not as slow as they think when walking the trail 👍👍👍😘😘😘
🤣🤣🤣 Its really not that difficult - Aside from the 4 I said i missed (Which was genuine) I pretty much found / saw all of them but didn't put every one I found into the video 👍👍👍

Hi Bill, what a charming trail that is, makes me sort of wish that I was a kid again. That duck , notwithstanding its a she, should be called Del Boy. He who dares Rodders, the the way she was hoovering up the swan food. The adult swan gave plenty of time before it warned her off. Just a thought Bill, I have my share of blues and regrets in this life, but watching your channel it reminds me that despite our societies pressure to attain and succeed and win the big prizes, it's the small things in life that often make it worthwhile. The simple things, the everyday beauty and interest that people often overlook because of the stress of modern life. There is art and beauty all around us, and obviously in our part of the world. I have a feeling that your channel inspires more people than you imagine. In a world gone mad what a comfort it is to have a sense of normality and community. By the way the bookshop in Queen Street, run by John and his wife, is really worth a visit, he's always up for a chat and has a good selection of books etc. Again, an oasis of calm in a mad world. Peace and mindfulness to you🙏🙏🙏🙏

I have not done them as a video, like the dittos, but have filmed them as & when a new one appears as part of my walks. I follow the guy on Instagram, & more recently facebook, so I know the locations, so perhaps I'll do that in a future video 👍

i was in buckfastligh that day haha but did do a little video in teignmouth and totnes. lol diffrent video my place i was in was up by the strand at top of ditto 30 not nice place to say i dont mean to say bad things but we had the black people there and cooking these smelly foods at sleeping time which are apparently nurses and they was shouting when we was trying to sleep so not going there next year, me and my mam are thinking on going to blenheim for 3 nights next year and meet my grandparents coz the monday tuesday wednesday and Thursday are busier anyway
Shame you had disturbed sleep where you were, but at least you managed to get away for a break - Hope you have better luck next year 👍👍👍
