It’s as if they’re paying homage to the TBH+C tour with the red flashing lights at the end, which was a major part of that tour

It's the main thing in the song and what's make it perfect
This is what we are all thinking, but you hit the nail on the head on why this arrangement isn't working. The song, well, the riff gets _made_ by that groove. And the groove is completely destroyed.

not only it's still great, it fits perfectly in their new sound
This version is more of a ‘middle of the set - added in’ kinda vibe compared to show-opening/closer it was originally. It’s not as good, but I’d rather them plays this then not play it at all.
